The Cortez jump hole flickered and sparked as something hurtled through. The CV-Homestar, an Aquilon carrier, barreled into the cloud, a ripple of displaced gasses blasting across the hull of the ship. Engines fired, and the massive hulk started to move, pulling out of the cloud, revealing its less-than-human appearance. It clears the cloud, and a signal sweeps across the system...

Hail.
We of the Imperium have heard the distress call, as well as those following such. We believe our assistance may be much appreciated.
We believe the Homestar will arrive within seven hours, with drone craft arriving within one. We eagerly await your response.

Station Invergordon, My ship has received your message. We have room to offer in my medical facilities on my ship. However I want to inform you before showing up that my ship is a Corsair Praefect. Myself and my crew have dedicated themselves to peacefully helping the Orphans of Corsair to have a better life and make the next generation one that might help heal the wounds in Sirus rather then create them. I Started with just Corsair orphans but since traveling about have found many other children in need and have a number of Junker, Zoner and even some orphans of Bretonia and liberty.
Enough history. I am willing to offer my ship in assistance, the children on board are mostly of age and have been trained in basic first aid and we have a full medical team that can assist with everything else.
I need only permission to dock without having to worry about someone attacking my ship and my medical team and ships facilities are yours for now.

"Sir," jumped Ensign Kent to his Commander, "I'm picking up a transmission on the emergency frequency. It's coming from Ivergordon Station in the Iverness System. Some um....Seamus Kelley?"
Commander Haddock stood up and walked over to the com station, "No one I've ever heard. What's the message?"
"Our help is being requested," explained the ensign, his face long with worry, "it sounds serious."
Haddock stood in momentary thought, "Honestly, I've never been to Iverness. Where is it?"
Kent brought up the ship's charts, "Sir, we have no record of it as we have not been there ourselves. Let me pull up some data."
He then began punching in coordinates and entering information. He had the look of "it figures" on his face, "to get to it, Sir, we'll have to traverse through both Bretonia and Liberty and we know how much the Bretonian Crown loves us!"
"No kidding!" replied a disgruntled Commander Haddock. He turned and took a few steps away in thought before turning back to his young Ensign, "Well, we can't do nothing. Send a message to the base and worse case, maybe Doc can head there in his transport or something. Speaking of Doc, let him know about this!"
"Yes, Sir," replied the Ensign. As he began a transmission, Commander Haddock informed the medical staff of what was going on.

Location: Omega 49 System
To: Seamus Kelley
Location: Iverness System
This is Ensign Charles Kent, communications officer of Med Force One. We have received your call for help and have notified Dr. John Holliday himself. Due to some politics of the Bretonian Crown, we may not be able to bring our colony hospital to Iverness space. However, we will make an effort to do so. If not, the Doctor himself has a ship able to make the trip and render assistance.

Robert Murphy, Pilot and XO, steeples his fingers.
Seamus Kelley stands behind him, in comms with other inbound vessels.
"Captains, Commanders, an' fellow Junker Skippers." he begins. "Ye lot've honored us deeply wif yon prompt arrival an' show o' soldarity, but I fear p'raps we've overstated our need in our panic." his eyes flicker to 'Gunner' Kelley. "Th' arrival o' the Majestic Skies hae signalled a turn fer th' better indeed."
Murphy indicates the huge monitors behind him showing a massed armada of ships, large and small, all working to stabilize the Station, while smaller vessels shuttle wounded from the various triage sites to the Majestic Skies' medbays.
"Any o' ye lot what're still en route may just find yerseffs ta be extraneous, an' nae in just a wee bit o' danger o' collision, wha' wif all'is 'ere air traffic." He smiles, and shrugs "I finks we've this tarry mess under control now, an' while we mourn the losses o' many fine Junkers an' friends today, we're on th' way ta stability an' recovery."
"Nae ta turn away such 'elp as ye lot offer, but I fear I must, fer safety's sake." he shrugs, and a deep frown creases his face. "Howe'er, If I may, please do say a prayer fer th' late Cap'm tim Finnegan, who's nae been found yet, as we enter our second day since th' crash." his head hangs, then comes up, rigid. Holding back emotion. "He'll be greatly missed by the Jun-" Murphy holds up a finger. "Scuse me, aye?"
He turns to the tech rating who interrupted him. ''Bouncing off the atmo' ye say? Magnify!..." A large monitor shows a tiny meteor streaking across the blue of planet Cannish, readout stats populate the space near it. "Bloody 'ell tha's an escape pod! Track it!"

Robert 'Dropkick' Murphy flicks open a shortbeam broadcast to the Seamhas "Seamhas, we've spotted an escape pod wi' weak lifesigns skippin' across yon Cannish's stratosphere. We cannae bring th' Wake in tha' close to scoop 'er up. Can ye find someone wif atmo-brakes please catch 'at thing? Twould be much obliged!"
Flicking a switch, "Majestic Skies, looks like we've another patient fer ye lot. Could be it's th' pilot o' tha' blasted ship wha' done all'is. We'll be wantin' im healthy an' awake ta answer fer this runction! Do please make ready fer anovver patient."
Connor Sinclair shakes his head as he peers at one of the huge monitors on the bridge. Empty and crumpled cans of Liberty Ale, and an open case of Sidewinder Fang spill out of the twisted cockpit section of the Dreyrugr, as it sits on the cargo bay deck of the Wake, being scrapped.
He mutters "Drunken sonofabi--"

Incoming Transmission Comn ID: ****[VERIFICATION FAILED] Location: Invergordon Space Port's orbit, Inverness System Transmission Begins:
*The video feed shows a severely damaged door and shrapnel all over the floor. Crewmen dashed back and forth. A tall man, wearing a plain Junker uniform, stood in front of the camera.*
This is Riley Garner, acting commander of the Seamhas. We've had some issues aboard but the crew of the ship is now in full control. We have tractored in a damaged lifepod. We believe that the man inside it is Tim Finnegan. While our onboard med team has managed to stabilize him, we are low on resources and lack doctors with enough expertise to deal with him properly. We'd like to transfer him to a more suitable vessel as soon as possible.
The Seamhas is equipped with a dockable shuttle bay so we would also be able to accommodate visitors, if needed. We can't determine whether it would be wise to move Mr. Finnegan as of yet.
Please use this comn channel to reply...Quickly, if possible.
The Pilgrim of Vorenus jumpes into Inverness, it clears the ice field then stops.
Looking down on Planet Cannis Vorenus radio's to Salvager Mascius.
Vorenus: Ok mascius, whats going on down there?
Mascius: Sending camshot boss.Camshot file
Mascius: Its not good capt, looks like some drunk ploughed straight into Invergordon,
half the medibay is gone, the bottom sections are just holding it together now, as for
the bar! well, thats totally gone, were still having some leaks in the silos but i'm on it,
although we havent tried to enter yet, theres life inside, were getting stong readings!
Vorenus: Is there any other vessels in the area?
Mascius: The support's been great, we've had Rogues,IMG,Aquilion's,miners from
Dublin even, i've had BMM helping me all day with parts from the Toon, as for Bowex!
they were here before me, they've been rallying EVA pods to the Majestic Skies all day,
if it wasnt for them, we'd still be floating in corpses!
Vorenus: I cant seem to Hail the Seamhas or the Wake, whats up?
Mascius: They both took it bad too, seems their Capt's were in the bar when it happened,
they've just found Finnegan's pod in orbit around P Cannish, he's smashed up pretty bad,
he'll be lucky if he makes it!
Vorenus: And Congressman Beast! what of him?
Mascius: Unknown sir, he hasnt been located yet, we're hoping he's stll inside!
Vorenus: You've done well Mascius, i'm on my way down.
Mascius: Sir!

Traveling under radio silence, Med Force One ignored numerous hails and headed for Iverness. Upon entering the system, the ship flew at impulse towards Ivergordon, using scanners to check for any survivors. John Holliday was on board with the medical team to bring in casualties.
"Ivergordon Station, this is Commander James Haddock of Med Force One, we are in system, scanning for survivors and we are ready to accept casualties and render aid, do you copy?" was the hail that went out system wide.
"Helmsman," said Haddock, "bring up Ivergordon on the screen and magnify."
"Yes, Sir," he replied and did as ordered. The damage was substantial and Haddock knew they needed to get there fast.
"Helmsman, get us there quick. We'll scan from there," ordered Haddock. Within minutes, Med Force One came to a full stop about two k's from the base. Medical teams were dispatched and shuttled to the base.
"Ivergordon, this is Med Force One, we are here to help," was the announcement. As teams prepared, Haddock stood watch.
An officer comes on screen wearing dress kilts and standing at-ease, hands clapsed behind his back. "Commander Haddock, this is Mickey MacElroy, Stationmaster 'o this fine ruin." He smirks. "Our thanks for your arrival, 'specially respectin' th' unfriendly skies ye 'ad ta come through." he nods, smiling.
"The right venerable Majestic Skies has been acting as our MASH unit since her arrival, but I fear she may be overwhelmed, as ths type o' work isn't in her regular rotation. We'd like to begin shuttling wounded to your fine, renowned facilities toot suite, with yer permission."
He signals a nearby tech, and a medical data flow begins. "As ye can see we have numerous radiation, plasma, and vacuum burns, as well as amputations, eviscerations, and concussive injuries, veritably comin' out o' our yay-holes. Our own med facilites were heavily damaged in the collision, and have been shut down."
He rests a hand on another tech's shoulder, and says quietly to him, "Hail the Seamhas, aye lad?"
"Commander Haddock, the Seamhas has a special patient onboard, our own Clan Chief, Cap'm Tim Finnegan." More data flows to Med Force One//Condition report, post #23 HERE// "His case is severe, and critical, as ye can see. Th' bastard seems ta be hangin' on by sheer force o' bloody-mindedness." He smiles. "Th' daft bugger's too dense ta know he's nigh 'pon deed, it would seem. We'll hopefully be sendin' him to your quality care, under guard, in the immediate future, soon's th' Seamhas can move 'im. If ye've an ambulance unit more capable o' transport than our, please feel free ta take o'er."
"Sir," a Tech rating in the background interrupts. "The Wake has completed the salvage of the Dreyrugr, Sinclair on channel one-zero-niner with report."
"Commander, if ye'll excuse me, I'll see that medical transport begins immediately. Please feel free to moor. Fuel, food, and hospitality is on th' house for ye an' yers. Again, thanks." *Signal Ends*

"Mr. MacElroy, this is John Holliday, send what you have. I'll have the ICU opened and ready. Mr. Finnegan is being brought aboard as we speak. He will be well taken care of."
Tim Finnegan was brought aboard, pod and all from a tractor beam. A special medical team was there to meet him. The pod was opened and a barely alive and awake Tim Finnegan more or less fell out and was captured by the team.
"It's going to be all right, Mr. Finnegan," said a reassuring voice, "you're safe here aboard Med Force One."
He was then laid upon a gurney and given a sedative for the pain. The entire team was concerned over the mess they had been presented with.
"Let's get him to ICU," commented the doctor.
As they transported him, Tim Finnegan would fall asleep under the power of the sedative and the teams of Med Force began their work on him and all who needed it.
