Well, maybe. I can't exactly tell from Grou Matar's post if he's looking for more "Crazy" characters or less. And New York is a Hodge-Podge. It has some of the most developed characters and role-players, and it's also got a fair number of the less-developed players. Dublin's not quite as balanced in that regard.
So, I'm just wondering, what exactly are you trying to say, Grou Matar? Is it that we need more inspired people that can play a character outside of the confines of his or her ID/IFF restrictions, or are you saying that those people you met in Dublin were just too crazy and need to go back to being what they're supposed to be? I couldn't quite tell by the way you worded it.

I thought that such kind or roleplay is normal for, maybe, phantoms.
well its less enjoyable to interact with such players if their IFF says that they should be 'noormal people'.
So all the pirates should be "normal people" ? I don't think so.
Suggestion: Move away from Dublin and you will be just fine, that's what I do and it works great.
Speaking of madness in Dublin, I was approached by a newbie few days ago; he had many questions. It went like this:
Newbie: Where is Dublin? I want to mine gold.
Me: <gives directions>. If you want to make money you might try mining X in system Y instead.
Newbie: <strike>Braains!</strike> Gold! Gold! Goooold! Miiine. Mining gold! Gooold! Whaaat. Neeed. Tooo. <strike>Eat. Braaaains</strike> Miine. Gooold.
Gold fever, indeed. I think that Nature's Last Hope used biological weapon to spread madness among the miners. How come it infects people that weren't in Dublin ye, beats me.
Feel free to PM me regarding any grammar/spelling/other language mistakes I have made in my posts.

:nono:
keepers are much better, in fact you can understand what are they talking about, and its possible to RP with em.
Wilds arent so good in way to understand them (especially with my rusty English)

im playing molly, my char isnt mad, but yeh most of mad were pirates
Me saying NY/Minor are hotbeds for lolwuts. Minor's gettin better, but still...
And NY can be fun. You just gotta find the right people. So far, I had good RP with Hellfire and AI Core vessels, both on my seige (ai after renaming).
But if I ever see you again, LNS-KATY.PERRY, I will purge you with fire.
And Rays, that CSV.
And Zukenee, Brakel is frikin insane. I applaud your ability to act so insanely innocent.
You can find interesting roleplay everywhere, you just need to offer it. Don't expect to be serviced some pieces of your gusto. Advertise some, and you'll get something.
Roleplay is no receptive activity. Get active and it won't matter whether you are in NY, Dublin or Poole. People will come where the play is. So be an island of good gameplay and you will have fun. Even in Dublin.
