Whenever a transport comes through Corsair space, I try to ensure that it is safe to proceed for them, as the occasional indie, or various others do like to take advantage of those vessels.
Dream Theater - "Sabre120 and Jongleur officially win. That is all."
Best thing to do is to try and get an escort from a TBH or Benitez char from Om41/OmiTheta to Crete and back out. When you're flying with a Sair escort indies generally know to leave you alone. Plus it helps out should a nosy Hessian, BHG, Outcast or Coalition come to try and spoil your day. I'm not sure if Sails do escort... you could ask them too I suppose, but they tend to be more on the offensive end of the Sair roleplay.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

An example that happened a few month's back. I was in my Junker transport. I had already made many trips, and hauled 12000 food, and 12000 scrap into Gamma for the sairs. I was scanned by many caps,GB's,and fighters. I always make sure they know i am helping. Then on 1 of my trips(ended up being last of day) some little sair did the ole "2mil or dai" I was like "you cannot be serious" I then stated on Open channel that i had brought in tons of food and scrap already that day. He then opened up on me,so i thrusted to trip, while firing back. Then along comes an Osie,a cruiser, and 2 fighters. They proceed to tell the lone fighter to halt all actions as i am "one of the good guys". He refused, and said i would not pay him. At which point the other sairs said "NP. We will pay you" and blew him to hell.
So you see they do support those who help in RP. But make sure you follow orders, and be nice. Also i always ask for permission to dock before i land anywhere. Makes them feel important, and all that.

this. prevention is better than cure. if you consistently have troubles, let the corsair court know, but otherwise find a benitez, sails or tbh player and ask for escort through corsair space

Fascist Communist pirates actually. Just to point it out.

This.
Also, there are a lot of Corsairs who tend to give Junkers a free pass, jus cus yer useful.
gone four years, first day back: Zoners still getting shot in Theta :|
[color=#FFFFFF]Beautiful idea but impossible to apply.
Example: Me bringing food to Crete and lolgate blasts me. Why? I wasn't flashing green...Apply those characters to your example with the junkers... (a true one lolgate not just a fancy way of saying legate)
Just a suggestion with regard to bringing scrap to Tripoli, bring something with it. You can haul artifacts out till your blue in the face but bring just scrap in and techinically, it's a taxable commodity which makes you a target on the inward journey.
A short stop at Cambridge for example will pay dividends with 15% of your hold stuffed with food and gives you a hassle free journey. Whats more, as your name gets known, the food will be less important.
Sadly, there will always be the odd one who thinks they are above Imperial Law. They are not and assuming the proper evidence is provided and not a 'before and after shot' to the Court, the miscreants will be dealt with accordingly.
This has been some great discussion gents. I appreciate all of the feedback - and for the person mentioning helping both sides - Outcasts and Corsairs - I personally would never do that as it invites trouble and I am someone trying to avoid trouble at all costs. I have never had a need to deal with the Outcasts. No - Ill stick to my zones and try to keep my head down. :D
I am glad that I have also been more educated as to the Corsair laws and the laws of several other factions. It seems there is always more to "discover" on Discover! Sorry - I had to say it. ;)
