I have more characters than I would like to admit invested in IMG. I might also lose the deep loathing I have for the Outcast sort. Perhaps not such a bad thing
- 3 main outlets of credits
- RP for my BMM miner escort
- Significant loss of activity for my BAF and HMS characters in Dublin (honestly, Dublin will die without mining IMHO.)
- Less profit in piracy between Bretonian and Liberty (IE. No ore haulers)
- My life;)
- The sadness of losing a hold full of ore (It toughens you up:)
- My favorite faction to RP with, the IMG, have no purpose. So they fly around all depressed and what not.
Above all I lost my ability to make new ships. I used to do a single ore run with my Salvager or Adv Transport, then I'd make a new character, rep, and buy the normal loudout. Boom, new RP character. Trading is not my strongsuit, however it seems I'll have to adapt.

Answer the question, possibly comment on what others lose in a civilised manner. Deviate from this and I'll just ask a mod to lock the thread and nothing will have been achieved.
If the mining mod were to be permanently disabled, what would you lose?
I would lose:
Roger Claymore. His whole role-play is based on pirating miners.
Adam Patterson. His whole role-play is based on defending BMM and fighting against IMG, both mining groups.
Gerald Croft. My BMM Basalt miner. There'd be no point sitting in a barren field shooting rocks without even earning any money.
Roger's Rocs'. This group's key objective is to pirate miners and ore haulers. Without that there's no point in keeping the group active.
So, I ask the question again: If the mining mod were to be permanently disabled, what would you lose?
If the mining mod were to be permanently disabled, what would you gain?
I would gain:
More RP
Less Lolwuts
More RPers
More healthy community

Go make your own thread. Don't hijack my one. And explain your points in your own thread.
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

I never mine.. rarely interact with miners too... so this will not affect me that much.....only bad think that this will mess a lot of RP and source of income for mining factions and for junkers...
Poor regular traders they gonna be pirated more often too.. and more junkah will start pirating instead scraping,,,
there are always 2 sides of the coin hopefully admins can find compromise...
