Perhaps. I have activated the mod, but when the blank box first appeared I hadn't. Before activating the mod I went to multiplayer to see if I could connect to the global server, which was one of my issues before reinstalling (right before then I had managed to uncorrupt my mod).
So I'll try the patch and see if it works then, I already deactivated the mod earlier, I just hadn't gotten around to uninstalling the game but perhaps I won't need to. Thank you.

The game is now working, but I cannot connect to the global server, and my firewall is down, and it still won't let me. Any suggestions? This is what caused the problem in the first place....

Whenever trying to connect to the global server, it tells me it is connecting, but it never does. I have eliminated firewalls and virus protection as an issue. So it is something else.
I learned I can directly connect to the server with a command line, but I need to find the IP and perhaps something else to directly connect to the Disco server. Does anyone know where I can find out how to do this? And from a place that concisely[i] tells me how to?
edit: if i just can find out the IP i should be fine i think on figuring this out
edit2: ya i just need to know the numbers to put in, i think possibly including the port
EDIT: found out about the direct connect, I just need to get the ip from an admin, hopefully it will work.
