I think its fine, if we just get the train CD's removed from every random NPC.

Remove unlawful NPCs from house systems (so they stop disrupting tradelanes). Lawful NPCs should stay to at least make it somewhat difficult for pirates to do their thing (as it should be--you shouldn't be able to sit in orbit of Manhattan as a pirate).

I say keep NPCs but make them more intelligent - DONT have them throwing themselves into battles they cant possibly win e.g. some class 1 LFs against my gunboat, its not immersive its just annoying when they CD me.

Above all PLEASE remove the "turn hostile when hit by CD" its so ridiculous when your allies turn against you in the middle of a fight.

Awesome to hear.

As I have also found that NPC's can be extremely annoying. And somewhat pointless.

As Hone pointed out, the CD-Hostility, very annoying.

LF's CD you and try to attack you.


A few things that would be really nice;

Remove NPC's from JH's/ JG's.
Prevent ramming of larger ships. (if possible)
Give them less potent equipment. Because lets face it, attempting to shoot hundreds of CD spamming gnats isn't what I or most others play the game for.

I love NPCs! They make the game much more enjoyable and less empty.

But the least we can do is to make them less aggressive, I can see how that annoys some people.

I'd be thrilled if NPC pirates didn't make my tradeship do super-speed flips every time I'm dropped out of a lane. *sigh* collisions. Or make NPCs susceptible to the ramming = direct hull damage that players get now.

Make NPC ships receave hulldamage from ramming, just like player ships gets it.
Stupid xeno starflyers, then will explode on your hull instead, of studitly swirrl your ship around, and make you take 2 minutes just to dock with a jumpgate or tradlane.
The all the npc in the world are fine to me, right now, loose them all, they are anoying.
