Kill the CSV-Codehunter-Plage

I hunt CSV codehunters in my fighter;)Get em all the time. Also, you can engage them in Rhineland because of their policy about CODENAME holders having to register if the weapons aren't armed. (Due to the Renegades robbing a dealer of 52 CODENAMES a few months back) Info on that rule is found HERE.

Rheinland really needs to actually put their laws in the LAWS sticky, not scattered all over the forums in impossible-to-find places.

That "lose codegun" paragraph must have been changed/rewritten since i last read the RFP guidelines, so sorry if i refered to some outdated ruling. So now you need a licence it seems.

I have to disagree with your complain about bad organisation of written rules. Im not official member of RFP nor do i have any influence on or participation in that rule creation but i feel i should defend rheinland lawmakers in this for the natur of this issue (codegun-dealer-licence) is to special to be written into general rules of Rheinland. Also its all there in the RFP section of the Rheinland Faction tree just where it should be (IMHO).

Every other house has figured out how to put licensing requirements in their laws, either by having it directly there or linking to the post. It just seems that Rheinland is out to get people who don't spend all day on the forums

It was 2-minutes-past-server-reboot, and I came thru the Gamma/41 jumphole. I thought, how about that nearby wreck? It was looted already. 2 minutes and the wreck was looted.

I'm sure these people just park a CSV in space and wait for server reboot. Then it's a race as 15 pwnz0rs all try to loot the bugger first.

I fail to see the real issue here. You were bested by a CSV pilot. Codehunting is probably the most profitable OORP industries in game. Second most profitable OORP industry is girl.


It's a cut dry market. Either you're lucky or you're not. If you're not the best you're the worst. If you're not first you're last. 99% of Success is Failure....

I don't believe I ever looted code guns. I bought tons of codes along while ago when the most you'd see was 7 million per gun. I use few very few of them rest I am just storing them.

If you are a Pirate, Yes. Freelancers, mercs etc cannot

What hasnt helped is the new Server restart time. Twice as many players on when it restarts now. 3 or 4 CSV's around all the good codes. I have been trying for 4 Days to get codes for my EFL VHF in Dauphine, man I have given up. CSV always beats me too it and I cannot pirate him, nor can I fly upto it and hang around for restart as the Brigands or Corse shoot the crap out of me. Tried cruising around the wreck until the restart and I was still just too late.

Why oh Why did I sell all my codes to Cody....oh yes for silly money thats right:crazy:
