They didn't realize they were addicted while they were still on the planet and it takes a while for the shock to kick in, doesn't mean they didn't get addicted fast. I'd go with 1 day, just like Dab. That stuff is everywhere if you are on the planet. Air, water, food. It will probably even stick to your clothes and make you breathe it even after having left the planet.
