I go raid Dublin in my indy Corsair, loads of fun.

All it takes is a few PMs to some of the players ingame and you got yourself a raiding party to the place of your choosing. Easy day.

If i just announce that im going to raid alpha whose with me... I will get more than 10 ships with me and all probably bs, but if i say for anyother place then i would find( normally )none.
It happend many times.
I talked to many players that includes leader of some successful(have a good number of recruits) unofficial faction but they are not interested at all. The way to alpha is full of astoroids and leagtes in 4.86 stuckes too much is there, though they will go to alpha.
Why? Why? Why?
What candies they get there in alpha i dont know.

ranseurs. they cant kill the battleships in dublin because they are stationary, and so they just dont go. but nobody even thinks of taking a titan instead. for some reason people would rather spend 40+ minutes traveling to die 3 minutes into the fight instead of 10 minutes traveling to fight for 30+ minutes. each to his own, i suppose...

but i still don't understand.

I agree. I understood the reasons to go eta before as the route was short to get to enemy. But now it is not. Im talking about the astorids, but people still eager to go alpha.
Raiding chembridge or fighting in leeds is not that tough to get.
Chembridge is rather easy to reach.
Its looks like the attraction to hug some oc is unavoidable. They just cant think anythink else than that.

And sometimes i see people dont care about defending too. I have seen some legates are doing missions while there are 3-4 enemy bs in gamma. Despite the others are preparing thier defences they are continueously playing missions around tripoli.

6x titans can take down any capital class ship with ease. but the problem you have is that the people with the big shippies cannot fly snubs, and die very fast in a furball.

some capitals are set-up as solely mission-based machines, and are no use at all against humans. sometimes its better if they stay out at tripoli, and not get in the way

This made my day. But sure go ahead anyplace. Its always lul seeing corsair indies trying to organize themselves. But heck, why not!

One of reasons I sold my corsair char was complete lack of even basic intelligence in groups of more then 2 people.
