' Wrote:Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in some countries) - Truly unique game, good story again.
This. Also Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant, as good as Final Fantasy, but stood hidden in the Shadows.

How are several of these posted games "indie"? Okami and GC in particular. Pretty high-key games.

Dwarf fortress. - Kinda clunky, but also "Losing is fun":D

Shadow Watch - Not entirely indie, but I don't meet many people who actually know about this one.

Dark Reign.
Pretty popular with older gamers, but people my age say 'WAT'.
One of the best soundtracks of all time, and the game was awesome fun to boot.
If hard. ._.

Galactic Civilizations: Twilight of the Arnor

Got the ultimate edition version, with both Dread Lords and Dark Avatar as well. Each provide differences in play in running your empires, galactic civilizations.

Dwarf Fortress

Lossing is fun, but it can scare the crap out of you too. I mean it. Especially if you embark over a underworld cavern. So many Daemons, so so so so so so many. Found my first one about a month ago, had 80 dwarfs slaughtered in two minutes flat, not doing that again. makin sure i don't venture to near another embark site that has an underworld below.

Otherwise, apart from the bizarre, I find it annoying that i have to end up making huge forts, for a population of over 100, and get to 200 on the odd times. Man I hate getting 20-40 migrants.

Lastly, Freeallegiance, awesome team based RTS game.
