@Jinx - Temper? No, not at all. Read what I wrote as if I'm really tired, not angry, and you'll get the gist of what I was feeling when I wrote that. It would just be good to play in a sandpit where the castles we try to build weren't constantly kicked down. Balance should be employed to encourage people to do things, not disuade. Encouragement and help for those that want to try and move things on is what's needed, not reasons why things can't or shouldn't be done.
What are they? gipsies? I think it's fair to say that in rp they started small with daba cuz they couldnt pull a major fortress out of their hat in the early days. But by now they'd have made something rather big n potent there. (see model change from .85 to .86 to reflect this for a bit.
And the vanilla argument is making me cry. We can't do -anything- because, lo and behold, it's not vanilla. If you want a server that works that way, rename it to Discovery Groundhog Day 24/7.
Core rp has been developing ever since 4.85 hit. All we're asking for is that stuff, no matter how small, is changed accordingly to keep up with 'reality'. the combined efforts of the order, Nomads, Core and Corsair players are quite awesome. id hate to see that all being brushed aside because 'its not vanilla'.
At FP11 I noticed loaded Zoner barge regulary jump-trading with another Zoner BS. Full load of Iridium brings cca. 100 mil for each jump. It was not easy to prepare all for that, I'm sure, but now it takes 10-15 min per jump. So... 400 mil per hour? And no risk.
