Doom's current ones are really, really bad. He used one (stretched) and modified borderworlds texture for the entire hull more or less.

I won't make it stand out too much in terms of color contrast, even though if I had my way it'd have a clean paintjob. I know too many people would rage about that, but I mean.. seriously. I'm not going to use a stretched Bworlds texture for it.

To be honest the whole line should probably be retextured, the caps are fine though.

Amazing as it may be to believe, you are not the be all end all authority of naming ships. Should go to the creator imo, and the faction which uses the ship. Plus this thing was in development before you even made that post.

Well, at least keep the general coloring the same (meaning mainly a rust-colored body). One thing you might want to pilfer is that Council logo. It's detailed enough to fit. As for the name - we have an infocard team for that.

Skinjob should be done today. I only had to make two new textures Aet. The rest can be found in the mat file for the Council's capital ships, so there's that.

The ship looks really good, but it could be a bit too long unless the model itself is really tiny like Wasapu. Can you provide some comparison shots with other VHFs?
