Never actually seen the KNF invade Bretonia, except some time ago during a planned event, though there was a group of 8 or so unlawfuls consisting of Hogosha, AFA, Gaians and Corsairs (or maybe just one Corsair), including two gunboats and two bombers, camping planet NL a few days back. I figure the [|] will probably be taking a role similar to Kusarian Privateers in Bretonian space.

Two KNF destroyers are permanently deployed to the Tau sector and are expected to cross Bretonia border territory reguarly along with some escort, to engage the enemy in Dundee, Leeds or the Taus. Unfortunately one seem quite inactive while the other one...
Likely timezones issues if you never seen KNF invading.
The one that you're speaking about is the Kusari response to the Bretonia Privateers, yes.
' Wrote:Also, look to your core systems a little more...I recently set up a Kishiro trader, and very rarely will I find any of your members patrolling the eastern part of Kusari, which is overrun by Bounty Hunters, pirates, BMM traders(?!), etc. One notable exception is Arimatsu Yoritoro, who has recently taken it upon himself to defend the whole of Kusari (well, so it seems...).
Did you by chance considered the "timezones" factor in your equation?
I may admit recently there wasn't much activity by a good part of warriors, for various reasons, but for example when I usually logon Kusari is a quiet place with some random encounters. Nothing containing the word "overrun" anyway.
' Wrote:I don't know how many members you have in total...
' Wrote:You're speaking of privateers, which are not the main Bretonia force, so cannot be compared is such a context.
In Dundee and Leeds the situation is a bit different, Kusari forces are pushing deep in both systems with their main fleet.
Regardless of that, if Bretonian forces can't withstand a destroyer in a warzone, not Kusari fault, war isn't fair. How many times we have to say that?
Plus, signed what opiuchi said, you get as you give. Even if it's not the point.

As the leader of that particular outing, I will comment on it. First off we had a diverse group, and 2 GB's for only a few mins. That said, I think the group we brought was completely fair and appropriate, this raid was launched by the AFA, and Black Dragons as a specific response to heightening Privateer activity in Kusari. Also the fact that we took down 2 Bretonian BSs, a Dessie, 3 GB's, and many fighters goes to show that we needed the fleet we brought. Aside from that, the AFA have been launching actions into Leeds for months. This raid was a bit special as we proceeded all the way to New London, which we haven't really done before, but as I said, this raid was in response to Privateer action, and we felt we needed to do something with more impact to make our point.
This is how the game is played people, you try and get the advantage where you can, this is not spamming dessies or anything, it's the difference between taking a GB or a Dessie. KNF is not coming to Bretonia with 5 Dessies to fight some fighters or anything. I know Blunt and Koolmo are happy with the way this has played out, and I know for the most part the Kusari leadership feels the same way, so I think it's been working well, and we should all keep it up.
about Chikuma
It has now been destroyed Deiter....
by a combined force of Bretonian Privateer, 2 GC and one Liberty Rogue..in Honshu next to Osaka:shok:

So much for that you know;)

Interesting observation from a fight we had today. Your GB was the only ship had any Kusari equipment.
Edit: Sorry, I'm still cooling down... Our performance there got me a bit upset :/ I get the bomber, Debs and a CB. But the fighter was strange - 2 Debs, 2 Nomads, 2 CBs?

While I will still ask for more informations regarding the gunboat name and loadout, I can actually provide explanations for that fighter configuration.
Imp.Debilitators are a civillian produced weapon which, from what I can read out of their infocard, has not a defined production history (without counting reverse engeneering).
Being a fact that they are sold at Osaka (a samura station), it can be a logical conclusion that they are manufactured, if not there, from a Kusarian hand at least and therefore can be considered Kusari weapons (however you will not see more than 2 mounted and not every KNF use Imp. Debs).
KNF second generation Chimaeras and Catamarans, thanks to not-so-recent Kishiro discoveries regarding nomad based weaponry,
are actually able to mount 2 modified nomad blasters or cannons (OR 2 codenames).
Specifical informations on this subject are not top-secret and are available at the Kusari ships and weapons database.
