' Wrote:Hello, I've been wondering if I should start participating. Can someone please perhaps sum up the best things / main reasons why I shouldn't miss these events?
Good stuff:
You can take nice looking screen-shots.
You can participate in large-scale battles endlessly.
Bad stuff:
Unlimited re-spawns, close distances and no timers equals no value in killing your target.
Very bad choices of load-outs.
Certain NPC Objects (example: Isis) provide unfair advantage to certain parties if abused (which they are).
One-direction combat, change of battleground happens if one side completely loses and is pushed back, but almost never happens due to the first problem listed.
No tangible goals or creative objectives, basically mindless killing.
Suggestions added by the Dev-Team had been completely ignored.
Take GRN vs KNF event but replace the words with BHG vs Order, add a little extra cap-spam and you got this event.
Capital Ship Vessels : Fighter Crafts Ratio is about 10 : 1.
Experienced Nomad players didn't provide sufficient information to those not being aware of what to do as a Nomad in the event. Lead to group splitting, as the majority stayed clueless in Omicron Delta near the vicinity of Omicron Iota whilst another group advancing and experiencing what was supposed to be the real Nomad breakthrough.
Osiris being banned yet somehow at least five Osiris were spotted attacking Nomads (eye witness), and all of these had Solaris Turrets mounted.
For very vague reasons the BHG GS is banned from usage.
For all involved. The odds are weighted heavily towards the Order at the moment due to the massive capital ship spam. Do you mind please joining the Nomad side if the Order already has enough. The nomads can't get anywhere at the moment because of our limited ship choice and this is making the overall experience rather poor when you die every 5 minutes becasue of unfair numbers.
Thanks,

//Just used color to make this stand out if that's ok. This isn't an official announcement or anything, just a request.
Well, this was fun and interesting.
I actually enjoyed my time here, despite various silly things happening. I guess I was in unofficially in charge of the Core after the Guildmaster disappeared... and I think I was, for some time, leading both human sides in collaboration against the Nomads. But I was stabbed in the back by an Osiris and exploded for the last time (or third, I think), sadly. So Colonel Aldric Grey is MIA right now, and we'll see if he affected the battle at all.
I've been playing for quite some hours today, enough to see the conflict evolve and change. It's really intriguing how this all works together - all the people, teams, ships, sides, tactics... lovely stuff. It's vastly interesting roleplay, it's not every day that you have to stretch your muscles of tactical command and crisis management. Hefty kudos to most involved.

I could have sworn that it was simply no longer available to create with /respawn, due to "Empty Stocks", not banned. There are still plenty of Osiris to go around.

Well said. Hence the reason I was not on my Osiris.
At the start, when I just got my nomad, there were at least 40 people sitting and waiting. I saw at least 20 Irras, and dozens of fighters, bombers and gunboats.
But as Zeltak said, this force was not organised.
Official Keepers, and Morphs connected to the Skype Morphshare were in one group. The remainder was split into several smaller groups. There was absolutely no co-ordination, and it took an hour for everyone to decide who picks out the targets for bombers.
Before this leadership was assigned, everyone was shooting at random, and resulting in nothing happening. A lone bomber can do very little to a Mako or Osiris, and unfortunately we had at least half a dozen of each keep attacking.
Why not just disable all the battleships? It's far easier to take on a Cruiser or a Destroyer with a bomber swarm. They will die rapidly and hopefully people will just stop using them when they don't stand a chance against the bombers. People will then start using fighters and bombers to take on the bomber swarm. That's what I think anyway.

Regarding the cap spam, i changed to bombers/fighters, and switched side different times, and i will keep doing it.
