I'm not sure about the model, it does look too starwars-like IMO.
However as to the name and description you gave it... no.
Bretonia is not an empire, it's a matriarchy/monarchy. You can call it a royal fighter, but not an imperial fighter. Likewise, bretonia doesnt have "house lords" - that's a system used in japanese (aka kusari) history, not english (bretonian).
All the "infocard" I write are never official by the way. I dont really frequent bretonia, so I know about nothing of that place.
As to model, thats called implementing stuffs from other series to fit in Freelancer without everyone screaming import.
Geez, people are yelling over imports, now we cant even submit ships based on imports? Its body is fully bretonian, you dont see solar pannels on the side or an imperial octogonal cockpit... and imperial, because even in SP they called Bretonia, "The Bretonian Empire" (trent and junko goes to FP1; response of the battleship)

I didnt say I didnt like the model, I'm just not sure it fits entirely.
It does look good... though my suggestion would be to remove the current engines on it, and put them on the backs of the 'wings/panels' to give it a racier look.
I'd probably fly one of these if it were added, as long as it didnt say imperial =P

Correction.
Bretonia appears to be based upon Victorian-period Britain, which was an Empire. British, and I'm assuming Bretonian, monarchs tend to have heaps of titles aside from 'the Queen'. Queen Victoria herself was the Empress of India, for example.
the model itself looks very good - i like the texturing in particular. - i don t care much for its similarities to a tie fighter ( mind, i don t think it looks too much alike anyway - a tie fighter is build around a basic concept - a sphere, 2 hexagon shaped solar panels and thats it - simplistic to the max. ... this ship is ornamented much more )
i can imagine it to have near hammerhead stats ( less agility / turn rate - but more armour and power as it looks bulkier than a hammerhead ) - an excellent ship and very bretonian-ish.
That ship is fantastic. Ignore the remarks about it looking too much like a TIE fighter. While we can see the influence, that is definately a Bret ship, not an SW import.
Bretonia really needs an HF. Something not too heavy, and very manouverable, to fill the gap between the uber nippy Hussar and the very heavy Templar and Challenger.
Can we see a comparison between the Hammerhead and this one? My instant thought on seeing what Jinx suggested was that it should be more manouverable but less armoured. Would be nice to see the models side by side to compare.
i think more manouverable and less armoured is not really possible much. - the hammerhead is very manouverable but fairly lightly armoured already - and it looks frailer than this ship. ( i think eagle agility but a better response to turning, 8k and something armour )
anyway - it gotto be worse anyway - cause the hammerhead has improved stats, cause its a vanilla ship - as a custom ship, it would rather get virage stats, i guess. ( or stinger ) - and if not classified a VHF ( virage has 9600 armour i think ) - but a HF, it would prolly have something around 7k armour only anyway to make up for the invulnerability against explosives.
