But yet, I've seen people with nothing becoming leaders, toppling governments and whatnot. And with what? Efforts. One single man (or woman) can change the course of history. This has been historically proven. So, instead of continued whining about how you lack interaction (could be you caused that onto yourself with actions from the past, no?), pick yourself up, think of a way, inform people about that and get them excited. If you believe in your cause you'll suddenly find others to start believing it too. Being all that condescending or limited won't do your cause no good.
And if you knew me you would know I avoid Liberty as much as possible, 'cept for the occassional (quick) travel through. I should do nothing but follow my own path. As is everyone's right.
This game has a 220 limit, this is not planet earth, and theres only a little that one can do without people actually motivated by this. This means that unless I can turn into a jesus like figure, and have the people to follow it, nothing is going to change. And i'm not in that whole leading part in anyway, but until one such person appears, we can atleast do our little part and resurrect places which otherwise no one would visit. And people who are actively play in Kusari should be recieving much more "kudos" than anyone else, from brining a once thriving house > to a lonely house, to something so much better. Why stop there?

You mean I will check player list and then goes like "Hmm, let´s see, there is 30 players in Liberty, 15 in Bretonia, 10 in Rheinland, Taus and Omegas, 5 in Gallia and Kusari...wait, only three players in whole Omicrons, 1 in Alpha, 1 in Gamma and 1 in O-74? I should definitely go into Omicrons then to make it better."
What exactly you expect from Liberty players? That LPI players says in their chat "guys, look, there is so much people in Liberty, let´s log out and make Corsair chars and go to Omicrons, those few people there feel lonely for sure!" ?
How many times you tried to go into Pennsylvania (Zoners even has a base in this system, right?) and say to people passing around "hey, don´t you want to go to Omicrons. Beatiful worlds with lot of adventures. Go with us Zoners on our way back to Omicron-74 and you will see yourself!
And you can even have fun protecting newbies in their level 25 ships on the way through Corsair and especially nomad spawning territory. This is what you (or faction you are in) can do.

Just kidding, I mean, I didn't exactly succeed in making the Council a grand faction either, lol.
Heeey, I didn't let the LR die...
Unless you count leaving it to Chris and Ashes allowing it to die.
Back on the topic though, seriously. What is so bad to have an activity spot? Apart from the OORp, which can be solved by sanctionlancer.

Yes, in a nutshell thats exactly what people should tell themselves. And saying "Player list" as if its a new thing to anyone doesn't impress me. How else would you get 30 people in Liberty? And I just want to know exactly why did it mention 74, because I don't like people attacking me personaly, for something so fundemntal as this. If someone doesn't want to leave liberty, thats fine with me, but the level of arrogance that is perfected by these people, who every so often try to meddle other places that they almost near- dont visit them is amazing. You see, I have just about as every faction on my account list, and though I prefer living as a zoner I am perfectly fine to sacrifice my personal wishes, just to avoid seeing great factions such as the benitez to simply go away, because mainly people such as yourself are more focused on replying to my thread, in the attempt to drive me and those who might feel like me, away from the issue.
Obviously people want to play in House space right now, there's nothing wrong with that. You can't really do anything to get people back into the Omicrons because the are content where they are, eventually people will return and it will go a phase of activity like it once did. Complaining about it won't do much.
FL player base also discovery is shrinking, thus server population is not as big as two years ago.
Former (4.85) we had war in taus. Gauls, CR, Outcasts. Bretonia-Kusari war.
There were plenty of Outcasts capships, which attracted Corsairs to make raids to Alpha. In the answer Outcasts raided Gamma.
Those actions attracted people to make Corsairs chars, which attracted Hessians to attack them and raid gamma.
Some bored sairs looked for job and attacked Zoners, what led to wars and more action.
Gold in Dublin plus corsairs pirates, inspired people to make Molly chars. Action caused more actions.
Now Gauls are near Liberty. There is still war with Rheinland, so Liberty capships have plenty of opportunities for pvp, so people move more to the center. Liberty was always primary spot but now it has more action than anytime before.
There is peace in Taus. Distance between Oucasts and Corsairs is far bigger now. Buffer systems make their role - separating enemies. Raids are difficult.
Explosive gas clouds in Sigma 13 are not good fields for battles. There are less Outcasts, and they can move to Liberty, where they can pirate and fight.
Most people on the server have huge pockets of money. They don't need to trade. So there are much less traders. Because people don't have to trade, which is borring, they looking for other possibilities, eg. pierating or fighting.
Add to that, the trade system was changed, and smuggling is not as lucrative as was years before.
Being Corsairs means nothing really to do. No traders for pierating, no enemies to defend Crete, smuggling is booring. No annoying zoners for hunting.
Corsairs were left alone in the south of Sirius. People abandoned their caps and moved to Liberty. Corsairs died and Omicrons and Omegas without them are empty.

That is your opinion. Not mine. I do nothing but trading, whether it makes a profit or not. Because I find it to be fun.

Have you tried to smuggle since .87? Haven't you noticed how it actually became more profitable now? Smuggling has actually never been really profitable until now. Check your facts.

Stop being so personally touchy, man. I mentioned O-74 because when I check player list, I see often some people there. When Order people or Khara are not ingame, O-74, Gamma and Alpha are only Omicrons with players, simple as that. It has nothing to do with ZA issues, I don´t care about it.
But you somehow passed over this in my reply:

So, what you or your faction tried to do YOURSELF to bring more life into Omicrons? You still have better position than for example Rheinlanders, who except ALG can´t go to Penn to recruit newbies or at lest drag them into their space, hoping some of them stay and start flying there.

I smuggled in 4.84, 4.85 and in 4.87 too, so I know the facts.
Have you tried to smuggle artifacts as a Corsair, using ways and destinations which Corsairs should and can use?
You may not agree with my opinion, but give better one why Omicrons and Omegas are empty and why Corsairs are dead.
