It isn't that hard to pull a lore excuse out of your arse. It isn't impossible to change a population. (Manhattan reads 18 some billion, when I think in vanilla it barely topped 1 billion) It isn't impossible to come up with other explanations like "Zoner ships require smaller crews due to advanced AI technology", so on and so forth.

Actually Manhattan had 220 million.

In twenty years it's undergone 8100% population growth.

And it was the most populous planet by a long shot.

Long story short, Manhattan has on it today more people than should exist in Freelancer.

With all due respect, "a bit" doesn't quite cover it and you know it. Putting it that way when its clearly more then a "bit" is both belittling and condescending.

And now in a final act of desperation to save your toys, you threaten the devs with leaving the server in the hopes that they'll crap their pants, beg you to stay, and keep the status quo.

The guy is clearly very passionate about this issue.

So it's a problem now, instead of something that was broken in vanilla and has since been fixed, as Igiss or whoever else wrote that card decided was the right thing to do at the time? Stop worshipping at the altar of the vanilla gods, as 'nilla had just as much holes as the current Zoner lore.

Planet Malta, despite the Cardamine reducing the birth rate drastically, has 470 million.

Planet Manhattan in 801AS had 220 million people

Outcast birthrate is at most 1/3 of the rest of Sirius.

Planet Malta (Outcasts) has 213% the population that Manhattan had twenty years ago.

Also Crete was having trouble feeding it's population (The population of Crete must be lower than Manhattan otherwise nothing makes sense.)
