we removed guns off trade lanes.
Should guns from JGs be removed too?
I only seen them kill a hostile LF without an armor

Certainly not. Else there would be hostile Cruisers and Transport camping Jump Gates.

Also, about the last question: Every time I'm talking to someone about Star Citizen, even if they're from Discovery or not, I always bring up the fact that I'd love an RP server for it. So yeah, if it turns out to be nice, I'm up for it. (sun)

You can't camp inside the gate forever though.

Once you get flushed out of your hole with mortars and gunfire, they'll suppress your shields and powercore indefinitely.

Pretty useful? If you asked me, yeah, it's an infallible asset.
