Dear Ms. Hunter,

I cannot help but get the impression that there is a general lack of interest in resolving the situation diplomatically. I do not want to point fingers at any party, as I know that diplomatic proceedings sometimes take a lot longer than expected and perhaps sometimes situations change in the process.

Anyway, I would like to know whether the meeting that the IMG tried to facilitate and that Lane Hackers and Crayter agreed on, actually took place or whether there was no further steps taken.

Furthermore, it would be of interest to see whether the incident you mentioned has any impact on the process.

All I can say is that the Guild would appreciate a stabilisation of diplomatic relations and we are still willing to invest into the process, however we need reassurance that this process is actually still alive.

Let me put it this way. We are indifferent to the notion of truce with Crayter Republic. We have participated in these negotiations solely out of respect to the Independent Miners Guild - our long term business partner.

Crayter Republic does not pose a real threat to our operations in the region and occasional skirmishes are not strategically important - to both parties it seems.

Nonetheless, I had an impression that all was set and agreed upon and this truce was just waiting to be formalized. The meeting never took place, because we never received a confirmation from you.

If the Crayter Republic is still interested and the Independent Miners Guild still sees it in its interest, we will sign the truce under points agreed in earlier transmissions. We will of course require additional one-time provision of 40 000 000 SC to cover for our lost bomber asset during skirmish initiated by the Crayter Republic in Magellan which happened after the negotiations were officially started.

The Guild is content that there is still motivation to come to a conclusion. As we believe that paving the way towards regional stability is worth an investment, we would ask for the provision of the bank account to which the funds can be transferred.

In order to speed things up, and to keep lengthy discussions from taking up more time (which again could lead to more incidents of the unwanted kind), I suggest a meeting on Barrier Gate. That would mean neutral grounds, one delegation each, with IMG as observers who are standing by in case we are needed. Timing: as soon as possible. 48 hours of preparation would suffice?
