facepalms, head-desks, penguins, and what next? Catfish?

I like the looks of you... they say first impressions are important, and you've made an impeccable entrance. As everyone has done before me, I welcome you into the community. Enjoy your stay. Read the rules (of course) and learn some of the Laws of the houses or you'll find yourself very dead, very fast. The people here are general friendly (as you can see) but appear downright scary in game. Do not take it personally, It's just in their role-play (most of them at least).
OH, almost forgot, and I'm surprised no one mentioned this. Stay away from the Mon'star. Or you'll find yourself on the wrong end of his guns.

I'm a veteran of Freelancer, I've played every way you can, seen everything there is to see, and downloaded most mods that look well-put together. The Discovery Mod, chiefly, though.
I remember the that old site, the Lancersreactor was still up.
... I also recall when this mod was nothing compared to what it is today.
So I've been Freelancing for a while.
Aye, feels weird to be a newbie to a server when you've played for a while. I had the same experence when I first came here.
Welcome to the mad house, don't feed the Mon'star.

You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark.
Hi there. I came in under the exact same circumstances. I had played FL since it came out but had never tried MP. I remember when I first came out of Manhattan seeing a liner asking for clearance to dock with absolutely no one around. I was thinking to myself that these people are crazy. Well, now I'm hooked. This is a great community and an excellent mod. You should find lots of people out there to help you along the way.
