I'm in the same boat here, too, but it's giving me that "Component MSCOMCTL.OCX" mess. How the hell do you fix it, because I want to get my guy docked on the Battlestar so I can get some better guns to do some Nomad-hunting with! (I'm in single-player, so in b4 "cheating with admin guns", etc.) I was able to dock on the Battlestar in 4.84; why make it hostile now?
I assume you're running Vista or 7. If so, you'll need to disable User Account Control. As an added bonus, your computing experience should get a lot less annoying, too.
