How the ship performs ingame will depend on Mjolnir. I have certain values in mind but I'll need a few more consultations before I can make them public. Sufice to say I am aiming for something unique but balanced above all else.
Sovereign: You bring up a valid point, though I'm not certain if I'll be ammending anything in regards to this issue. Having spent quite a lot of time roleplaying among the Zoners and analyzing not only their ship designs but how they have evolved, I've developed a certain thought process. I see the Zoners, particularly those living around Theta, as a people who are moving towards a sleek, biopunk society.
Their capital ships have been leaning more and more towards very smooth, organic designs. I imagine that a lot of this is influenced by the time spent in the outer rims of the Sirius sector, where a seperation from the civilized systems makes way for some very otherworldly thinking. This ship in particular incorporates a good deal of Nomad/Daam K'Vosh technology so my aim was to give it a somewhat alien touch.
Kuthumii: Thank you. I no longer play Freelancer due to time constraints.
I suppose it's too much to ask to be able to fly halfway decent looking ships as a Zoner. It seems that all our modellers can come up with nowadays are these strange looking ships that certainly don't look like they belong anywhere near Freelancer.
