Also; My Controls > Board settings and change "Do you wish to view members signatures when reading topics?" to No.

Personally I don't care. A signature is an expression of a persons creative interest. Doesn't matter if I don't like it, cause I don't have to wear it.

Thanks for the hints everyone, I am quite fine by my solution (which blocks only stuff that's about starting to annoy me).

I can assure everyone that I actually have nothing against Catgirls, Taylor Swift or even Mal's strange third-eye-visions. What I just don't like is just if something is displayed in a penetrating, neverending way which eventually would make me dislike it in the end.
