They are pirates but they also have a past background as laboring within the decks and shipyards. They are practically ex-Republican but much has changed since then. I can see Unioners capable of understanding the mechanics of piracy vessels. They have worked for repairing and maybe retrofitting of various types of ships ranging from light ones to transports or even higher. How could we know, which ships were docked at Alster for repair? Background says mostly transports but there is always an opportunity which we are willing to look for. Hessians ain't engineers too. I don't see a reason for Unioners not to have their own gear. They should be much more likely to produce their own stuff than any other group around them in my opinion.

And as Ad said, I don't think Unioners would be reckless not to bring some of the engineer stuff along. You could also refer to the background of Alster Union. It has a decent explanation there with the new background we have added to enhance the re-formation.

About a whole line, I think the same way with Chopper. Otherwise we would need loads of work for every faction. A VHF is being designed atm and thats all for now.

Hurry, call Guiness. A nearly 1 year old thread digged out.

@chopper: I agree with you. Thats why i made only the Black Dragon for Hogosha and no shipline, but since Farmers in kusari get some more vessels (a bomber at least) of their own, arguing in this direction will fail.

@sovereign: The Hessian GB was made by Dragan. Once one of RHA founders. I layed my hand upon to finish it. Also the name was given by Dragan and i do not want to change it. btw, Halberd isn't silly in my opinion. Did you ever get hit by one?:P

Yes, I know that Halberd isn't a silly name in and of itself, but... the rest of the line is Loki, Odin, Thor. Commonly referred to as the Asgard line. I can't recall any instance of Norsemen using halberds, nor any Norse god, goddess, or giant named Halberd.

Personally, I would suggest Tyr, god of single combat, heroism, and occasionally the leader of the Aesir (!?). Alternatively, Heimdall the watcher and Baldr (or Balder, depending on how you decide to translate) the beloved god of beauty are decently well known and sound fairly nice. Forseti is another option, being the god of justice and law... which the RHA seem to care about a decent bit. Njord, god of the sea, could also work in a pinch. Norse mythology is so damn cool, the names sound really cool, and it fits into the rest of the line. Please?

Halberd, the god of "Aeppelwoi" (applewhine) and "Handkaes mit Musik" (sour milk cheese with onions and vinegar).:lol:Those are real hessian national food.

Seriously: The current name of the model is Halberd (project name if you want), but in the infocard can stay a norse mythology name. Maybe Heimdall.

Unioners shouldnt have an own shipline. its a really ridiculous thought in my opinion, as they are criminal workers from the ship yards, not engineers. *headdesk*

They likely had to have a good knowledge of the engineering of the ships to do any work on them at all. The ships we're flying around aren't exactly WWII fighters, here. They've got enough tech in them to make a modern day engineer weep.

My vote goes to Forseti. Tyr would be my second choice.
