Personally I would like to see more cap patrols in Delta of all factions.. including Nomads, BHG, Corsairs and Order and possibly make them that way that they bump into each other and fight..:)

That would be the Gallic NPCs. I tend to explode whenever they are mentioned (because I also explode whenever they are spawned). As for the Rogue GB NPCs, that's just a part of something much larger, you're not that special:P
For the record, though, I would like to state that just because the Liberty Rogues have Liberty in their name does not prevent them from pirating in other houses, nor has it ever stopped them since vanilla. In fact, there was a vanilla diplomatic hinky between Liberty and Kusari about it, with Kusari Q_Qing to Liberty about the LR's presence in Shikoku and Liberty responding with "your space, your trash, deal with it".

Yes I was exaggerating a bit ... but trying to make a point. I'm too am sick of the countless cap NPCs flying about. Specifically the Liberty Dreadnought patrols. I've seen as many as 3 Dreadnought patrols at once.
My point was that if we are gonna lower the steroid level of the NPCs you might wanna look into the Dread spawns in Texas near the Bering and Hudson gates.
But who's gonna listen to me anyway? All my ideas get shot down without evaluation. So what we're likely to see is nerfed Liberty Rogues and beefed up Liberty and Kusari Navies. MOST Liberty Rogue NPCs people encounter throughout Liberty are the equivalent of starfleas as it is.

I hope you're also looking into the excessive Liberty Dreadnoughts all throughout Liberty. I understand the war with Rheinland ... but can we have Liberty and Rheinland caps actually fight one another? As it stands now the only thing these Dreads are shooting at are we small fish. Heck I never see Rheinland caps on in Hamburg or New Berlin or any other Rheinland system the way I see Liberty Dreads.

There's a jumphole from Galileo to Shikoku within 2k of the Hacker base ... hmm? Maybe we need Hacker gunboats in Shikoku?
And Rogues are known to fly all over Liberty. If a Rogue can fly from the South end of Texas to the North end of Colorado I think he's gonna be able to fly a few extra kilos to Shikoku. Also note that Rogues bleed over into the independent systems. They've got bases that span a lot further than you can imagine.

The gunboat patrols I'm not concerned about. If you're smart and put any kind of turret on your transport besides Type 4, you can easily take a boat patrol out. Even if you're unarmored. But I have to agree on the dread patrol argument. Too many times has my (now sold) OC Slave Liner been blown up in the Penn. system over 20K from the closest base by a cruiser/dread patrol. They should be reserving their resources for the war against Rheinland, not be sending out patrols into their own core systems.

Rheinland has been sending gunboat commerce radiers to Liberty however, thus making internal patrols nessacary.
To be honest, if the Devs make NPCs visable up to the same range as players dread patrols will cease to matter as you can just avoid them.

I'm not sure what effect this has on server load... causing NPCs to spawn at greater distance certainly adds load, but just increasing the view distance should be entirely clientside (they can shoot you farther than you can see them, it's not like the server isn't running them). Might be doable... would be nice.
