I never said that, I'm trying to get across that they're not space Nazis bent on doing evil things and causing mischief. The Nomads use violence like any other faction in Sirius, they're just not the 'bad guys' everyone makes them out to be.
They've made their own fair share of bad moves and mistakes.

I'm merely pointing out that I got two lines of role play before being nuked, which again is fine, I do the same sometimes. The point is, it contradicts your claim that Nomads aren't out to butcher humans for the fun of it.
Hey, I wasn't there, didn't know what happened. But I can't be sure it's not another bull Keeper-story like Ryoken loves fabricating.
Nomads and Wild don't really end up shooting Zoners like the OSI because they're docile and not really a threat.
Quote:"Looks innocent enough, no? If you ever wish to talk, just you and I, without the use of any communications arrays or face-to-face meetings, clear your mind and hold on to this tightly, we can speak anywhere in Sirius at any time" Masako handed it over to Sequoia, who studied it with great interest, flipping it over in her hands.
I can assume this is an active artefact, identical to or similar to the one used by teh Outcasts to first contact teh Nomads?
Not a complaint, just a question, that is pertinent to the spore.
gone four years, first day back: Zoners still getting shot in Theta :|

What I would like to know is why Nomads need to be turned into what you are envisioning? What was wrong with having them as an alien race hell-bent on driving humanity out of what they perceive to be as their home? That is what Vanilla lore established them as, and I don't see why it needs to be changed.

Because it's boring. It's one thing if you need a disposable mook race as villains, but quite another if you're looking to expand and interact.

No, what's boring is turning them into basically emo jellies.
"You just don't understand us!"
Part of the appeal of the Nomads was that they were the only thing that was universally feared. Now, its just another faction with alliances here, diplomacy there, and has generally been subdued into something tame and simply put, illogical from the point of vanilla lore.
The fact that you would describe Nomads as "disposable" when they are in fact essential to what is Freelancer shows that you don't really seem to have a full grasp of how important they are as DA envisioned.

Eh. Guess there's no reason to debate this. Akura's decided what the nomads are going to be and anything that might contradict his vision has been tagged as irrelevant and pushed aside.
