I thought it'd be Mollies, considering they surrounded their own base with a damn minefield. And they attack the most heavily defended parts of Bretonia. Of course that's NPCs only.
As for players, wouldn't have a clue... but considering the lack of pirates (when I'm on anyway) it can't be traders. Unless they all pay up.
As for players, i am going to be a bit cheeky and say civilians. they always getting themselves killed by NPCs, and everyone is one at some point. Course if you are only counting player kills this wouldn't work.

This is the case in game actualities too. Yesterday me and a friend chased a Hyena back to his mine field, shooting his shields off as I went. The explosions from his own mines almost killed him. :D
And trade factions really don't die that much. Generally speaking, there aren't enough official traders to rack up any kills. If there are any, usually they're experienced traders that know how to either 1) avoid pirates altogether, 2) escape from pirates or 3) get a good deal from them if the other two are infeasible.
Faction with the most deaths would have to be an extremely active one that sees a lot of combat, so think the XTF, the CR and the LN.
Really. It's the most dangerous area of space, and anybody brave enough to go through that place is bound to be caught in the crossfire being exchanged between the Outcasts and the Corsairs... and whoever survives the exchange might get blown up by a Nomad.
