Prolly won't happen. Discovery isn't democracy and will never be.

Should we vote? Yes.

Is it feasible? No.

Discovery isn't a democracy.

We might as well throw in a parliament with several ministries to boot such as "Ministry of SRP", "Ministry of Sanctions" and "Ministry of Ship Development".

This part of Discovery has justification to not be democratic.

I voted "no" because I dont want a popularity contest.

Also, the poll option explanations are a bit biased.

Not like it matters, it's a poll on a forum.

Plus it's a forum where a lot of us probably have access to at least 4 forum accounts.

Since I am fairly new pilot and still in the honey moon with FL and Disco. I vote no. Maybe in two or three years I'll change my mind.

Such a vote is quite useless, i have voted no.

Nothing will changed after that so why bother?

Yes.

Can members not be trusted with that responsibility? Perhaps, but they are already pretty much being chosen by members. Just a smaller group of members, namely the admin team. But they are just as brilliant or stupid as the others.

Funny how the "No"'s are explained as "nothing will change". So in other words, you are just voting yes, if there was a chance it actually became true.

The forum community is not mature enough to handle voting for Administrators.
We would nominate whatever the 4Chan meme-of-the week was.
An Admin bench full of Nyan Cats and My Little Ponies? ... No thanks.

We may be ruled un-democratically by benevolent elites, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
The Admins check each other to prevent abuse.
Who was the last corrupt/bad Admin we had?

Let's all just be friends and have a good time.
