I love the design. but i can see a bomber getting in the opening front area,and bouncing around if Turrets are not placed well. But it looks sweet. Especially from the side. You would not be to tell it is a carrier from a distance. And makes more sense fighters launching/landing get some defence on sides from the carrier.
Side bays just scream to me. "shoot here". Ever see Battlestar Galactica? How many times they could not launch fighters/land because of destroyed bays.
