Meh, dubstep is easy to approach, understand and enjoy and thus excellent for parties/dancing, but it sort of never really evolves. Most artists and tracks follow the same recipe - the endless looping and level of predictability (even in those tracks featuring dissonant harmonies it is still remarkably predictable and "copy/paste-ish") drives me crazy after a while, and I find myself digging back to Aphex Twin and others for "true" noise-making. I'd recommend the album Drukqs for anyone who weren't a teenin the nineties, and think that dubstep's use of noise/wobble and dissonant harmonies is revolutionary.
