Litttle.Roger- Jumping should be group sport- I would say that 2000 or 3000 cargo is more then enough for such ship- the other ships with him should feed him with fuel, it is better if it is 3000 because it would because jumping in fight or with Trolls around would be more easy to make- if you stop fueling your JD when you charge you can loose it, and the common way of jumping is to drop the fuel near the BS and BS beams while charging- zoner carrier have around 300-400 space for fuel with JD 4, AU8,guns and shields so it is hard to feed it on trade request by fuel tanker in combat situation, and cloaked ships/NPCs beamining your fuel is s not fun.
I use MK4 device a 3-4 days after the bases were introduced so my experience shows that fueling also need some twicking- it would be nice if the jumping ship can select the tanker ship or otherway around like in mining mod.
@FallenKnight
indeed good hit- but I guess since jumping is group sport you must need tanker and jumper all the time. I would prefer civilian transport with cruiser hull/Shield/or GB shield- or some crossover between transp and GB like salvager but not fight capable - only capable to take a lot of punishment.
Why civilian? Because everyone should be able to use it more easy- making 1 ship into the mod is better then 5 House such ships, 2-3 Hispanics, 1 Zoner 1 Civilian 1 Hessian 1 Blood Dragon 1 GMG 1 HF etc- all bigger groups with caps would claim to have its own and they all would do the same job.

This too- it would be nice if the people in group with jumper can jump only. Matching IDs would block ally factions to jump together and it would be bad idea.

This idea is great because right now the JD mk-IV requires a battleship/a lot of cargo/ and another transport to supply you until the process is complete. If the ships from your idea are something like "Motherships" for every house would be great. Maybe even different models as well. As for the price maybe it can be high like the Renzu liner - more than 400M. Then people wont lose money for ship that cant fight.:)
I agree wtiyh uou 100%...having an AI cruiser and beeing unable to use jumpdrives for mass transport is quite a problem at least regarding the uniq nature of AI's....The onli mss transport i was able to perform was "stealing" a free pass when i saw an Aquilon jumping beside me

Ai with zoner ID....well beiing an 100% AI requires an AI vessel and Ai vessels with zoner ID?....Just try it and let me know if your ship is good for something
Take your AI discussion somewhere else.
Any Dev input on this?

I dont think ships smalled than BSs should be able to jump. We already have cloaking transports, if they get a jump too it will be "POWER TRADING BROTHER!!!!". +It is only logical only the bigger ships to be able to do dimensional jumps.
