Lately I have seen 3 Outcast Slipstreams and 1 Loki..... when they have perfectly working Scimitair that happens to have exactly same agility as Slipstream and only 1 less gun.
Anyway I got myself and Arwing with Tizonas, Rapiers and Salamancas. It's actually a better loadout than the one with Imp. Debilis I had before, which was kind of half way between Debs + Death hands to this one.
People don't see my shots and I can't fire a CD.. and everyone is happy.

overregulating stuff kills the freedom - i don t have a prob with corsairs using the tigershark, even if the arwing was working. ( mind , i dislike the arwing - its like flying the R-type ship from the shoot-em-up )
the tigershark fits in well enough, imo. -
of course, if RP is allways more important than balance, - RP demands to use the decurion / centurion, - no matter how bad it may be. - and thats prolly the problem there. - while most corsairs can live with a ship like the titan that is worse in many points than comparable VHFs, - the decurion takes the disadvantage a little too far. ( one must be very dedicated to RP and not care for being shot down [and locked out for 4 hours] to use it )
so, if i was an enemy, i wouldn t mind them using the tigershark.... i would mind not being able to hit a light fighter:)- but thats it hehe.

The reason to use Tigershark in the first place was to not fly around in a ship that's unfair both to yourself and your enemies. - The Arwing
I told Global 4 months back that the Tigershark has exactly the same stats and that he should ask CR and admins to use it. Both said yes.
Point was - you should think that it's an Arwing since there is no difference between them. It's all written in the first post btw.

Look... Only reason we used Slipstreams cause we formed assassination squad within RoS and we wanted some "exotic" but still well within RP fighter... We have 4 Slipstreams (I think LH could manage to produce 4 Slipstreams considering Outcast feed them with ALL kind of guns) and 1 Loki (That is Joe's ship he has it for ages and he heavily RP-ed it ) And that is it! We don't have fleet of Slipstreams... We have only 4!!!
And as far as I am concerned... I don't like Slipstream. I hate it despite 6 guns... I found out that Outcasts don't have decent lvl 7 gun.... but I see no problem 4 people flying Slipstreams among 20 or more RoS members...
Same thing I don't see problem with Corsairs flying Tigershark.... But when I put on Slipstream like 2 Buckshots and 2 Rapiers .... now that would be a problem..... My only problem is loadouts in this matter, but I've never said nothing on forums cause i don't see any point in constant harassing people with something I don't like (I am speaking for myself here)..
Now my advice to you is to talk with admins and if they approve it then ...GO FOR IT... I see they already approved it.... then... no more stories ... Just fly that LF and enjoy the game!!!
EDIT: Mjolnir can you tell me please who have something against Corsairs using Tigersharks? There was like dozen threads about this topic and i couldn't manage to find out who started this whole thing.... I know somebody objected but I can't remember who...
skoko, only one little point, buckshots are weapons of enemy(bounty hunters)
rapiers are weapons of enemy.(corsairs)
debilitators are civilian (free for all) weapons ...
that is big difference.

I know i was just making sarcastic remark about funny loadouts someone had on his Tigershark... but I stepped over the line in ...bad joke... forget it! I was just trying to tell that loadouts bugs me , not Tigershark..
Well, the admins for some reason sanctioned for the use of the Tigershark, so I'm guessing they for some reason aren't so keen on the idea. I doubt they'll explain but, hey ho.
I personally meanwhile, have absolutely no problem with the Corsairs using Tigersharks, or using Civilian guns,
Since the admins said no however, I'd get the Arwing. Because, you don't have a choice any more, unless they decide to reverse the decision. The Griffin, though it felt fine to fly, does apparently have a few problems, I didn't fight in it often ( except against other Griffins) so I don't really know.
but i think this and similar threads can be closed. corsairs now use arwings, or VHF, and we can live with that and wait until next version is out, and arwing is without bug and we have the new decurion, that AoM maked.
Re the Tiger Shark: I noticed the phrase "Border Worlds" in the ship description. I seem to remember this being interpreted in Gamma once upon a time as indicating outcast connections. Is Border Worlds a company or just a description of the place, because it turns up in some ship titles and not in others?
I'd like to see the Arwing vanish completely. t's just too much of a nightmare from my nintendo days.
Whats wrong with the decurion? (I don't mean this rhetorically, I have never flown one) If it's really buggy and not just weak, the let the corsairs use it, I say. If the problem is weakness, well I say suck it up. You don't hear Xenos complaining about the starblazer even though having someoptimism is probably more effective than the ship itself. You can't have everything, where would you put it?
It might be an idea in future mods to create a comprehensive list of ships available to each faction i.d. but broadly speaking I'm in favour of anything with "Civilian" in its title being available to all, UNLESS THERE IS A FACTION WEAPON OR SHIP OF THE SAME TYPE AVAILABLE. i.e.. if there is ever a Bretonian pulse weapon made, then no more civ debs for any Bret faction.

Mjolnir. I did use the Scimmy for a rather long time (I fly the Loki you reffered to) and I had some off the cuff in game RP followed up with an addition to my character bio in order to get it.... An allied ship.
As I remember it you are NOT a part of any corsair faction, have no character bio whatsoever for your Corsair and still have a non Corsair ship, based on an arms deal made by a faction you're not part of. Kettle and Pot here much?
The Slipstreams have a roleplay for them as well, as Skoko said.
As it stands right now, the Scimmy offers no advantage whatsoever over the Sabre. Much like the Decurion, fewer guns (and not so effective ones at that) less armour and a negligable difference in manueverability.
So... On that note. Did you at ANY POINT see me critisise the TBH for using the Tigershark, other than the numbers it was used in? I think you could search through all my posts and find one vague refference to 'bending rp slightly' for it.

its infocard says that it is available in border worlds, not that it is borderworld ship line (as sabre,falcata,scimmitar, and others)

whats wrong with decurion ? so, imagine light fighters, for example starblazer as you say, with agility lower as eagle. decurion has only little better agility as titan, which is in the end lower as most of VHF have.
