No you'll be fine if it's just for smuggling, however you cannot pirate outside of Liberty and the bordering systems, if I remember correctly. Check the ID, the specifics are on it.

And expect running into people going "u lolwut rogue live in liberty not rhienland, looooool" when they see you. A lot of people on this server are very very occupied with everyone else's RP, and make a lot of fast judgement calls on what constitutes good and bad RP, often without having a clue about neither the lore nor your character's motivations.
