Name: Hugo Harris Age: 32 Birthplace: Presumed Crayter Biography: Little is known about his years in the Crayter sector, as he himself remembers less than he would like to. Civilian for the most of his life, that is for certain. Even less he remembers about his first years before the massacre. But one thing he remembers clearly- the unstoppable horde of Gallic war vessels devouring ship after ship, in his new home - Tau-44. This is about the time when he received his basic combat training and flight lesson - sadly to never put them in use. At the time of the Gallic incursion, he was stationed on a transport vessel, at least he remembers so. Being rather unlucky, a few days after boarding the vessel, it was put in harm's way. The last few minutes he could recall clearly. The Gauls appeared out of nowhere, merciless as usual. The ship struggled, but could not withstand the massive fire power. Suddenly, the vessel tilted and he found himself thrust towards a wall, smashing his head in it. This is the last clear memory he has. From what he could understand, someone dragged him towards the escape pods, leaving just in time.
How he ended up on Pecos, he is not certain, but he was in a coma for quite a while. After going through all the examinations and tests, he was discharged. Despite suffering partial memory loss, everything else seemed in order. He even felt healthy enough to attempt flying again. Relevant Experience: Basic flight lessons for fighters, transports. Basic combat and arms training. Your reasons for applying to the Military: It is a time when every pilot matters. Despite the heavy suffering, he has not yet lost hope and will do his best to put things right. He will never forget what the Gallic forces did.

1) How long have you been on Discovery?
Actively since late 2010. Excluding a few long breaks that is.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far?
I'd say many, but not that many.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
Not as much as I'd wish, but would normally log for a few hours, pretty much every day (after coming home from work).
Biography: Ever since he was a kid, Valorien always took his father's example of "the good guy", looking up to him and taking great pride in him as he was a respected officer in the Liberty Navy with a crystal clean record and countless acts of patriotism. Despite the boy's wishes to follow in his footsteps, he was warned in advance by his father that apparences can be decieving. As a result, Valorien learned of this on his own skin after joining the Navy, being overwhelmed by endless red tape and incompetent leadership all in a day's work. Stalled by such missfortune and only advancing in rank thanks be to his exemplary record and fast thinking. After several years in the service, Valorien was eventualy placed at a crossroads, choosing to do the right thing, despite breaking orders. He was facing court martial, although his father's ties managed to offer him an alternative: Early retirement.
Relevant Experience: Intermediary Fighter pilot training, specialising in guarding and escorting (VHF/Bomber).
Your reasons for applying to the Military: Even back in the days of his service, there were many rumours of the Colonial Military's discipline and solid structure, one that was supposed to easily surpass the Navy. With this in mind and, after being suggested to join the Colonials by an old friend of his in the IMG, Valorien decided to journey to Coronado in hopes of starting a new life if and when he would be accepted.

1) How long have you been on Discovery?
Roughly two weeks.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far?
A trader affiliated with Interspace Commerce, flying a Heron. Many test characters, thus not important except for the knowledge of the ships owned by each, which are many.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
I'm online most of the time, both during the day and the night, except for some occasions when I may be required to leave the keybord and attend to personal matters, or if I unfortunatly find myself playing alone.
Oh my head...
As you might be able to remember El, you're a Mover now. There should be an Atlas available (in any colour you want, as long as it is black and red), paint a name on the side and it is yours.
You're also quite the drinker, I'd be ashamed if you weren't feeling as rough as I am today...
Safe skies.
*urgh*
Jeff Dice,
Quite the story you have, some of it rather worrying. However, I've also received reports of your assistance alongside our pilots. That will get you this far.
Your application has been preliminarily accepted, a room will soon be made available for your interview.
Hugo Harris,
Once again, a new meaning of "Fore those we left behind" manifests itself in you. Although your concious memory may be damaged, you know enough to see what side you are on, and who must be fought.
Following your interview, you are accepted as a Warrant Officer. Perhaps you will regain your full memory, perhaps you will rely on instinct alone. Either way, I expect to hear of your exploits.
Valorien Victus,
Initiative and integrity are an important part of being a military pilot. You will find these traits are of value in the Colonial Military, if you are passed for flight duty.
You are preliminarily accepted. Once we are available to start the interview, your number will be called.
To all interested pilots,
Unfortunately our flight instructors have become rather overwhelmed of late. Despite our great pleasure to have generated such interest among our people and those of Sirius, we will be holding off on recruitment for the present time. Another announcement will be made when we are accepting new pilots.
Crayterian Civilian Database Entry #C-5239 Wrote:What would become known as the “Colonial Movers” started long ago, in the exodus from Crayter. Today, the Colonial Republic calls upon its oldest and most able handed transport captains, bolstered by ranks of fresh young kids, flying transports until age permits them to join fighting units. This loose fraternity of transport skippers, both young and old, are the new Atlas, balancing the economy of the Colonial Republic on its shoulders. It’s a dangerous galaxy, but like all true Colonials, these old sailors and bright-eyed youths take to the job with the same strength of spirit as their brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters in the military.
Alternatively, you have a chat with the guys near the crates...
What do we call you? Perry
How old are you? 26 Years
Where you from? Born on A Freelancing Transport "Oppotunity Stelar" Parents are
Father: From New Berlin

Tell us about yourself. Born on an scraped and Modifided old Liberty Cruiser I was taught the ways of a Trader and Pilot Begining onboard minor services when reaching the age of 9. when hitting 12 i did my onboard Duty in the Machine Deck and with the Age of 16 was admitted to Bridge Duty. There i learned Controling and Moving Capital Ships even through hard regions and basic diplomatie with other Traders when hitting 20 i was apointed permanently as Pilot.
Sadly while haping out the Exodus of the Colonial Forces from Tau-44 my ship was hit by Galian Gunfire and sufferd critical failure after reaching Coronado tring to safe the ship and its cargo it was possible for atleat most of the refugess to escape in drop pods. Most of the Crew Died tring to hold the Vessel afloat and only some lucky circumstances allowed bridge Personal to escape.
Stranded with the People of the Colonial Republic and having lost most of my loved ones to the Galaian Scumbags i knew my place was here.
With the Help of the People our Ship saved i was able to obtain a Trading Vessel and a fine Crew. Together we started Helping the People of New Hope with basic needs indipendently.
But now we know it is the Time to join the Officals and help Building a New Home for each of us.
Why do you want to be a Mover? I love the feeling of delivering a Cargo space full of needed Goods to the Fine People of New Hope and beeing born a Trader it is in my Bllod to fetch the best of the best for the least of the credits and while plotting courses and manuvre in thight Spots I´am quite not made for the life in a fighter and even thought the old Ship was a Cruiser i lack military knowlegde to take comand of a Military Capital Ship

Name: Xi Iota
Age: Estimated - 24
Actual - Unknown
Birthplace: Planet Gammu, Omicron Kappa
Biography: Early years are unknown. only early memories are of my mother, placing me to sleep in a warm tube like chamber. When i awoke, things were... different. I felt as though i had slept barely an hour, but based on the data pad I found on the dead body beside the chamber, i realised the true nature of my past. the bodily remains were that of my mother. when the planet Gammu was evacuated due to the radiation, only the strongest members of society were allowed to leave. my Mother, a well reknowned scientist was too ill with radiation sickness and we were left behind. After weeks of starvation she broke into the science labs where her life's work was still left untouched. A stasis chamber. She placed me in the chamber, and shortly after i went into stasis, she died. after a rupture in one of the coolant lines, I awoke, hundreds of years later, to find all of the machines left behind had turned into sentient beings! From leftover machines i learned the past of our planet, and of my people. when i was finally old enough to understand the flight training exercises i took the only ship in the hanger, an Arrow fighter. I barely made it back to the planet alive, once the nomads scanned a ship leaving the planet, they made haste. i spent the next 10 years hiding in abandoned buildings and stations as they sent their monstrosities, the Wilde. to raid the planet, eventually, I learned their weaknesses after i killed my first abomination, i decided it was time to escape. luckily the ship they brought down had its nav computers running, and i slipped out of the Kappa system. i spent a few years travelling, getting food when i needed it, using the knowledge i learned from hiding, and fighting the Wilde to evade everyone i came across.
Relevant experience: self obtained fighter experience, used to long excursions through hostile/deep space. able to pilot almost any ship available or needed.
Reasons for joining the Military: After learning about the CR from a comm station in deep space, i decided, if i was going to call somewhere home, it would need to be somewhere i could blend, with people who knew my struggle. "For those we left behind"? I was left behind. and I will fight in their name

1: been on discovery for about a month and a half recently, at least a year beforehand
2: Ships: had a few fighters, 5k Shipping train, a few exploratory ships, bombers, and a gunboat at one point
Characters: Kusari civilian, Universal/DSE shipping, AI, Lane hacker, and used to run an outcast bomber with the fleet
3: Usually on just about every night, for at least a few hours
4: Skype: J_mcmurray3012
With the new pilots suitably trained and outfitted, we now have the ability to re-open the recruitment offices. I'll also encourage the Movers to get back to work with some new pilots.
And it appears we've had some of you camping outside the headquarters. I'm surprised you handled the cold of Pecos...
Mr... Perry,
The Gauls were not interested in choosing their targets in Tau-44; if it was not white and blue, it was marked for destruction. "For those we left behind", and that allowed you to go forward, live on with the memory of your crew.
I'll make sure one of the Movers gets to sorting you out if they deem you suitable.
Xi Iota,
An unusual story I'll admit. All I had heard of Gammu previously was that their were a great number of machines there, which we have tried to avoid repeating...
It may well have been the old supply depot in orbit of Planet Moros that you discovered - quite the distance for you to have flown to Coronado.
Your application is preliminarily accepted. We'll have a further talk and some scenarios to go over before deciding if this is the place for you.
Name: Zoey Sakura
Age: 27
Birthplace: Fukuoka Island, Planet Kyushu, Kyushu System
Biography: I grew up on a boring farm, I fought alongside the Farmer Alliance for seven years, even though they didn't want me. I was hated amongst my own, so I spent as little time actually being with them as I could, flying on my own against our enemies if I could. After a while, my actions as a criminal couldn't continue forever and if it wasn't for Sakura Kai of the Kusari State Police, I'd probably be locked up or pushing daisys. She recruited me into the KSP, and after a while, I was referred to Kusari Intelligence as a model pilot and useful asset.
Now this part was meant to remain confidential, but at this point in time, I couldn't care less. Up until recently, I served the Kempeitai Kusari Intelligence Service, working undercover all over Sirius, posing as a mercenary. I hunted criminals in every corner of Sirius, whatever targets I didn't like, to be honest, and served in many Kempeitai operations. Come the war between Kusari and Gallia, I volunteered for Kusari Naval Service and commanded a Kusari Gunboat against the Gallic forces until our defeat in the Taus.
Relevant Experience: Nearly a decade of combat experience using Fighter-class ships. Flight theory and aeronautical engineering majors at Fukuoka University of Engineering. Military training and experience with the Kusari Naval Forces. Intelligence training and experience with the Kempeitai, including covert operations.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: The current Kusari government has changed vastly since Jien Kogen was overthrown. I find myself less welcome, as I am a part of the old Kusari perhaps, or perhaps my perception of my surroundings has shifted. All of my life I have found myself feircely patriotic to the great Kusari Empire, but now, I feel no allegiance to my people, my home. Kusari is my home no longer, but the Gallic and Outcast forces are still my number one targets. The Colonial Fleet is a good place to hunt those, so I am told.

1) How long have you been on Discovery? Since early 2009.
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far? I've been leader of the Kusari Wild, I've also played characters in the Nomads, SCRA, Order, BHG, Phantoms, IND, Colonial Remnant, Corsairs, Outcasts, all of the house Navies, many trading corps, almost all criminal groups, all Gallic factions. I've been around.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for? I work a lot at the weekends but I can play in the evenings after work, and at the beginning of the week.
The Farmers' Alliance and their associates in the Hogosha have long been a problem for us, and it appears to have been the same for you towards the end. The government has changed, as have some of their actions. However, their choices have continued to set them against us, among other enemies of Gallia. If you wish to fight both, we are the people to do so with.
You are accepted as a Warrant Officer in the Colonial Military. Your experience should serve you well, when you are considered for promotion.
Biography: My parents were Rheinlander military medics who decided to move to Planet Curacao in the Cortez system after being witnesses of the atrocities brought by the nomad war.
Relevant Experience: They always wanted me to become a doctor too, but I was more interested in spacecraft mechanics, and soon moved to live at Barrier Gate station, where I started working repairing ships. After some time I also made my way into racing, even won a tourney or two in the 'bomber' category there.
Your reasons for applying to the Military: Life was just good until my parents got killed. They were commanding an OS&C refugee mission in Leeds when GRN got them and took the liner down. I was not even able to retrieve their corpses, and since then all I want is to avenge them. I believe a militar career in the Republic will offer plenty of opportunities to do so.

1) How long have you been on Discovery?
Since 2008
2) What characters and ships have you had thus far?
Plenty of. But my constant ones have been Haruko Haruhara, Kusarian smuggling lady who deals in drugs with her Geisha Yatch. Also known as Faye Valentine, captain of a Salvager for the Gallic Junkers. In the Temporary Autonomous Zoners, there's Gypsie Skripto, young reporter, flies a Zoner Whale. Also Dr. Hodge Van Mojo, Second Apostle of Eris and Patron of the Season of Discord, and his two 'children', a pair of Erisian Replicants who take care of military assets. I was also in GMG where I roleplayed a couple of orphan runaway kids who found a future in gas mining.
3) How often do you normally play/come online for?
1 hour a day is normal. When I am able I can stay logged for hours.
As you have likely heard, the Gauls have made slaughtering civilian transports a habit of theirs - northern Bretonia and Tau-44 suffered the same fate. A reason to fight is a necessity, but do not be consumed by revenge. Defence of one's home (Cortez is within our patrol routes) is a good reason that we have used for decades now.
You are thus accepted as a Warrant Officer. Perhaps that "bomber racing" history will come in handy, do remember you'll need to keep the core running to deal with our enemies out in space.
