... For you.
Damn fun for you.
I don't think anyone finds getting /1 /2 *boom* instagibbed by a decloaking turtle to be that much fun, even if the turtle is having an absolute blast.
Well, they taught me how to pew pew in a cruiser. And I learned well!

Think before you post.
Firstly, as Joe has exhaustively pointed out already, the allying with corsairs thing was only a small stone in a large pile of them that led to the CCCP's end as a group. And since he was an admin at the time and processed the damn sanctions.... you should probably listen to him.
Secondly, Hypocrisy implies that GRN at the time would not have wanted to ally with the Corsairs anyways. It would always have been on the cards, and I don't exactly disagree with that RP, coming from anyone...the execution matters as well, however.
And on the question of "Why should Gallia ally with anyone if they have the power to wipe entire factions by their own...?" The answer to that is surprisingly simple. You cannot actually remove factions from the game, it's just not done. Logic would indicate that the GRN could've easily dispatched a large battlegroup to Ice Malta and the Outcasts could have done precious little to stop it, resulting in that faction dying out more or less. (You can argue, but I've raised this point in leaders chat and both Outcast leaders agree, so it's not a biased view.)
Since Gallia cannot actually use it's power, but has to conduct wars with all these factions anyways...what better than proxy warring? Give a bone to the Outcasts' eternal enemies, keeping the two occupied with each other. The Corsairs would also annoy Bretonia while Gallia focuses on Liberty. Also, they are conveniently on the other side of Sirius, so there's little chance of border friction or animosity arising. Gallia is doing something about it's lesser enemies, focusing on fighting Liberty and Bretonia and setting up other groups as sort of a guard.
And it's nice to have some Allies when Heroic Alliance of Heroes prepare to take on the Gallic fleet, while outnumbering them most of the time. Give flying a Gallic character a shot sometime...you'll know.
Tbh, without these groups Disco would be a truly dull place :|

oh, I just realised.... that while being in RA, we actually did many crap, I feel, that I need to say "Sorry Guys"
About Sairs and Gauls- I can't see the logic, sorry my wooden brains, that need upgrade. Even if Corsairs and Gallick lawfulls would have common goals, and they indeed could them.... firstly, Corsairs better to tide up with Rheinland. This gives at least small logic, to form some kind of a counter force against IMG and Hessians.
Making some non-pirate and no-get out of this system pact between sairs and Rheinland Corps in Omegas, ignoring each other in fight, and fighting common enemy. This could have some sence IMO.
