Some of the points you put out are indeed correct. But I thought this was a place where you can be what you want and that you have the freedom to creat elaborate and interesting charecters wich you enjoy RP'ing with. If I cannot find the faction that represents my view's over my charecter , that means , for me , that the universe of Freelancer is poor as it is , but that does not mean Disco. I do not ofcource emply the coping of a TV show or anything like that , but the creation of one's own story wich fitts the universe of Disco in it's own way.
I spoke with Reakur (I think) On TS once about the DW. He told me the things etc etc etc. Although, I felt that the RP of the faction itself had a lot of potential, but it was like an half grown baby atm. Thus the RP need to be perfected to fit in Discovery better.
And not offensively, In-game, you tend to fly alone, not RP with other players, whether they try to communicate with you or not, that does not mean that you are OORP,,,,,,,,, Just that you are barely communicating with us.
In short, You'll have to use the blender, there is still some bad chunks floating in the mixture.
' Wrote:To have a slight change of pace here, Suzanna and Raekur, let me ask you guys something:
Why, do you reckon, would it be a hard thing for other players and factions to integrate DW into their scenarios?
We have seen the scheduled "events" that have been posted and since it did not involve us we avoided the area until it was completed. If someone wanted us there, we would be there as long as RL does not interfere. The only thing is, I really do not see why any of these events would include BH taking into account the attitude that the other lawful factions have for BH. If that attitude were to change then yes I would expect there to be more interaction between BH and other factions. Keep in mind, if you harass and attack something then dont expect it to talk to you afterward.
I'll second Sovereign, that's a big part of community integration. As for the inconsistent naming conventions? I've personally seen: *DW*Name, DW-Name, *DW*-Name, DW]Name.
@Turkish........that was done to avoid duplication on Freelancer Global list. If you call more than just one of your ships DW-name then all of those will appear on global list which then of course gives false amount and duplication of members. However since the global list seems to be seriously messed up at the moment, showing only a few clans and a few members in those clans.....it is now debatable whether there is a point to it... see links:
It shows the Liberty Navy with five members. They have about fifty active. Don't think its worth it to even bother, I doubt more than twenty people on the forums even know about that site. By the way, it counts NPC kills too, so its more or less useless.
Now, can someone *please* answer
' Wrote:Oh yeah, how many DW members have non-DW characters? And how many of those DW characters are in other factions?
Actually there are a few of us that do have non-DW characters.
Those characters will not join other player-faction groups though as it would be a violation of DW policy.
I myself actually have an Outcast and I think one other DW has a Blood Dragon and one other is a corsair.
