So, thread dead now? Or is no-one interested in debating this further?

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

At least fifteen minutes if I'm flying well, assuming you're not carrying four or more missile turrets. Liberators are not easy to hit. Hell, I charged at a Corsair gunboat without backup in a Hussar and still lasted a few minutes when I was new to the game.

Light Fighters don't usually survive because of armor upgrades, it's because of their shield and being so hard to hit. The upgrades really help VHFs and bombers more.

Caps with armour unbalanced? Ever fought a horde of gunboats or cruisers who've never heard of armour? In the same week, I fought a group of four Rogue gunboats and a group of three talarca cruisers, none had armour. Both times we had two or three bombers and a gunboat, as well as our own cruiser for the Talarcas. The bombers cut through them both times in less than five minutes.

Granted, they were all horrible pilots, but that's besides the point.

For the Core.

' Wrote:Maybe to solve this, we have armor upgrades above 2.0 take up not cargo space, but nanobot and shield battery holds. Let's say for a Mk. VIII armor upgrade, you get 10 less of each regen type.

As for Caps, knock off 50 batts/bots for 2.5 above. At 3.0, 100 and 3.5 and 4.0 lose 150 batts/bots.
not to be mean but thats the stupidest idea in this thread caps are allready to vunlerableto some caps and one bomber can apprently kil la battleship which shouldent een happen in the frist place

It takes two to effectively kill a battleship, at the least.

Not to be mean, but you could learn to type better. *eyeroll*

It helps to spawn good ideas by eliminating the bad ones.

Highest VHF Armor (Without Upgrade) : 16,000
Mini Razor Damage : 19400

The problem is self explanatory. Without armor, even a Thor RH Bomber, Havoc Mk II Bomber, Nomad Bomber, BHG Bomber, Kusari Bomber, and Dragon Bomber would die after taking a single hit from a Mini Razor.

Anything short of a Falcata (having 19,800 armor, leaving it vulnerable to death if simple 1 single barrage of gunfire hit the hull before the MiniRazor...)

Cap Armors, they have their place as well providing some additional lifetime vs enemy bombers, which as Kurosora stated only takes two bombers to make a winning fight against a battleship. And theres alot more than 2 bombers out there in Discovery.

I say a capital ship is lucky to only run into just 1 or 2 bombers. While on Krusa.Corraine I generally fly against a gunboat with another gunship as support (keeping the fire off me mainly and helping with shields) or a second bomber.

I have tried flying stuff without armor and it is rediculous mosty just because of the power of the snac. There is a reason that they cost several times the cost of most of the ships that can carry them. Discovery is about long hard fights and RP. If you are looking to insta kill people, this is not the place you should be playing

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

Not sure about removing armour.... I think it would make Bombers take down Gunboats easier, wich means not GB's and Bombers but just Bombers own the battlefield...

Jimmy has some medical trouble that can't allow him to type very decently. Not his fault...

In any event, the armour as they are now are quite fine...
