Solve issues? In discoverygc? Don't be ridiculous. You should be banned for suggesting such a thing.

Travel times. Every time I reinstall Discovery I realize that in current_year I really can't be bothered with flying for 45 minutes to watch people log out just before I get to them.
The fact that I know (ooRP) almost every character that's worth interacting with. I want to be surprised by encounters but that's extremely rare because of the miniscule player base.
Lose-o-phobia: People roleplay a hostile encounter in a very unrealistic passive way because they refuse to take a PvP fight they might lose. People log off or hide off plane to avoid being shot and killed. The community is far too small to have half the players try to stay out of your reach.
My activity in this game is low since 2013.
People team up to kill factions and players will to play by trolling them.
I was one of the faction leaders that was trolled to death, that is why I don't want to give more time to this game, where people enjoy trolling more then playing.

My motivation died out when certain parties were going out of their way to do everything in their power to destroy the last thing I was invested in, rid the community of myself and my friends, and deny us/shut down everything we tried to accomplish. They took it so far as to rip away things we needed to survive.
One of the reasons I'm here now is because they're gone, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let years of hard work and dedication go to waste because of it. I'm struggling to convince people who suffered through the same proverbial bullshit to return to the community.
1. I'd have to get way too invested in the game to actually get something out of it. Which tends to mean that other friend groups, and RL people get ignored by me from time to time, so I can boot up, and waste time in an aged game.
2. As others have mentioned, I miss a couple of peeps, and those truly unique random encounters.
3. I feel like a hindrance to myself, and others. This has plenty of layers I'd rather not get into.
4. Other games eating up my time. I'd rather have some drug addiction at this point.

Shut up and come back. I need Lavinia for reasons!
