The Vespucci survey and salvage mission, led by me, commenced on the 10th from Cleveland Station. The convoy included the Falchion fighter escort, Samson, and two larger vessels BCV Fairbanks and San Nicolas. The mission’s objective was to assess the condition of Veracruz Munitions and Marshall Station and the Vespucci system in general. The mission was issued by Cleveland Station. Veracruz Munitions Chief of Engineering, Steve Lambert was aboard the San Nicolas.

The journey through Pennsylvania was uneventful, with sightings of independent miners and a Xenos patrol. The Kansas system was entirely devoid of activity, contributing to an unsettling atmosphere among the crew. The only things of note that our sensors picked up were wreckages adrift from the fighting still.

Upon arrival in Vespuccim on the 14th, we set course toward the Veracruz orbit, following the trail of wreckage until we reached the larger station pieces

Arriving in orbit we found things as expected; Marshall Station was completely destroyed and slowly dissolving into the planet's asteroid belt. The amount of impacts tells me it was quite sturdy so good job on whoever built that. Veracruz Munitions itself was powered down as promised, heavily damaged and as we later found out, devoid of much of its valuable cargo. The chief of engineering explained that the installation was immediately powered down when the Navy approached. All personnel from the installation was evacuated and as such it wasn't completely destroyed.

We approached and used the old Separatists codes trying to access the intact systems as we usually do when finding property belonging to them. Failing that, we took the ones we'd received from the Harmony element in Ontario. That even powered up one of the defense platforms that had been crushed into the station structure and almost overpowered the Fairbank's shields. Mr Lambert managed to shut it down before we needed to divert the craft or open fire ourselves.

With all that done, inspection of the station commenced. There really wasn't all that much left but most of the structure is still good. And while it's not comparable to Marshall or Bristol Bay, it's sturdy enough to serve as a base station for now. After scouting the immediate area, I gave the go ahead to BCV South Louisiana to bring in parts for repairs from out of system. We then had the personnel from Fairbanks moved into the sections we could seal and transfer air over already. There is plenty of ice in the belt around Veracruz that could be reused if life support is recoverable.

Top Level Damage report:
• Complete loss of section 3 - Weapons Manufacturing
• Hull rupture in section 2 - Life support - Provisional repairs in progress
• Damaged IFF system - Unable to reset, will require experts on site
• Unresponsive defense network - Mostly destroyed but receivers still operating - Related to IFF system?
• Restricted docking - Bay 2 is entirely inoperable at the current time, Bay 1 operating at half speed

Given the station’s condition and the absence of a functional IFF system, it is advised to limit investment until full operational capability can be restored. The mission’s success in securing the area and initiating repairs lays the groundwork for further development.

Just got news from "the squadron". They report the mission was a success. Debriefing has concluded and the after-action-report reads as follows:

-19:00, a wing of three pilots departed [REDACTED] Station towards the Badlands bordering the New York Jumpgate.

-19:07, DSE convoy entered the Pennsylvania System. Flight lead demanded they turn about and leave the system. Negotiations ensued.

-19:10, a Freelancer entered the system stating that they are with the DSE convoy.

-19:14, Negotiations breakdown after the DSE Convoy was unwilling to acquiesce to the demand to leave the system. Combat ensued.

-19:14 to 19:18, the two Mastodon class transports were destroyed. Squadron switched attention to the Freelancer.

-19:22, Freelancer was taken out. All units returned to base.

Hopefully this teaches DSE to keep out of Pennsylvania or any other Independent World. It is our turf and they better remember that.

On May 22, 834, three security vessels ran a patrol between Planet Dudley and Ralston Ice Field to ensure the local pirates do not mobilize nor disturb the nearby helium mining operations, when an Outcast Destroyer and Stiletto-class fighter approached, with demands to cut our engines and stop. The slower and more vulnerable vessels left the area while I covered their retreat in a Kali-class interceptor, the two vessels were pushed through Bethlehem station perimeter to avoid being intercepted but escaped. Later the same two vessels returned neaby Planet Erie's orbit demanding that we surrendered one of our pilots for questioning, of course I told the masker where he can shove his questions.

Before he and his scout retreated likely back to New York. One of the local disgruntled Zoners was present and he requested a sitrep, I told them of the incident, they also requested that if we're able to provide evidence that they indeed tried to intercept and engage our patrols near the Bethlehem exclusion zone we should forward such evidence asap. Later the same scoundrels engaged one of our security vessels in the Texas gate in New York, after they jumped to Texas in an attempt to escape, I provided support and engaged in a dogfight with the smaller fighter, during said fight the same Storta-class destroyer returned in an attempt to save his wingman as I dealt critical damage to the small craft, it was to no avail as I disposed of the Stiletto heavy fighter with the help of a freelancer that showed moments later. The two security vessels that were attacked by the destroyer suffered critical damage but the pilots were unharmed.

NOTE: I was made aware that Bristol used to be in good terms with these people, so this can be considered an isolated incident, nonetheless I believe it'd be good course of action to cooperate with the zoners, and get rid of these two scoundrels as it's obvious these warships will bring nothing but trouble to our operations, specially in Pennsylvania. A small squadron of light bombers stationed in Cleveland should be enough to deal with them.

During a routinary patrol through Vespucci based off Veracruz Munitions I spotted what looked like a a Baxter-type anomaly that eluded my previous patrols, upon closer inspection I realized that what looked like a Baxter anomaly was in fact an unstable jump-hole, which probably spawned or became visible just recently within the system.

The scanners reported that the hole was barely stable enough for safe entry, I jumped through it and appeared at what seemed like the far outskirts of Vespucci's Guerrero Nebula.
No hazards inbound, I marked the exit-point of that place and proceeded to do a quick recon of the sector, only to find what seemed like a gargantuan asteroid with deep and wide caverns through it, enough big for even a battleship to fly through, and within this caverns, I spotted multiple wrecked vessels and debris from what looked like several pirate and Liberty ships, including an Outcast interceptor and an Ageira Albatross-class transport, with a shipment of Ageira proprietary White Boxes still intact in one of the containers.

Listing of missing and destroyed vessels found are as follows:

1. Gunman: Dagger-class interceptor, transponder reports this vessel is from Maltese origin, given that the remaining equipment mounted on it are ancient Outcast technology, and that the vessel also had a small shipment of cardamine, it's likely the ship was indeed from an Outcast smuggler or part of a missing convoy.

2. ATS-Hero: An Albatross-class with an ancient Ageira transponder, this transport still had one container in good condition with a shipment of fifty crates of Ageira White Boxes in it. One has to wonder how this transport ended here, likely this sector was briefly a transit point connecting Liberty with the Omegas via jump holes, and likely Ageira acquired exclusive intel of these jump holes and took the chance to send shipments to maintain and repair the gates in Omega-7 and Omega-3 at the standard quota. Unfortunately the holes likely collapsed while this transport was still in transit through the sector and ended trapped there with no hope of returning back home without the life support depleting. Given the history Ageira has with covering their disastrous mistakes it's likely they won't want anyone disclosing what happened to this transport, maybe Bristol could come to an agreement with Ageira so this is kept in the dark as it is, plus collecting the remaining White Boxes and scrapping the transponder for them, for a reasonable reward.

3: "Star Dream": A Voyager-class freighter, unaffiliated. Probably a pirate smuggler or a freelancer explorer given these freighters are usually refitted for either jobs, they probably found out about an alleged shortcut, and either Ageira or the Outcasts silenced them, nothing remarkable was found on the ship's hold.

4: Unknown Judicator-class cruiser: There's no data about this wrecked ship, no transponder and no recognizable naming, it probably was part of the Hellfire Legion or the Insurgency Navy fleet. The hull is too scratched and damaged to make any sense. The ship is split in half but there's no signs of battle, the crew probably ended trapped in this caverns and eventually collided with some loose asteroids within it, causing severe damage. Given the apparently unreliable engine configuration these ships have, loosing steering due to one of them malfunctioning would be fatal in an environment like this. There's no valuable equipment or cargo that can be recovered from this vessel, beyond scrap and salvage.

5: Unknown Liberty Defender-class fighter: Same case as with the Judicator, there's no transponder, it may have belonged to the battlegroup that was part of the Judicator. Nothing of value can be retrieved from this one either.

6: "Bloodhound": A Barracuda-class, Bounty Hunter's Guild transponder. The pilot was probably going after the outcasts, smugglers or maybe hired by Ageira for escort duty, at some point they found someone tougher and the ship received critical damage on the cockpit, the pilot probably died instantly during combat.

7: "Cancun": A Gull-class transport with Liberty Police Incorporated transponder. This vessel is arguably the most strange to find in a place like this, I wouldn't be surprised if the transponder is spoofed and this transport belonged to some other group. The transport also had one container in good shape with what looked like cardamine crates in it. Maybe it was part of a special operation to deal with cardamine smugglers, and the "Bloodhound" hired for support? LPI usually doesn't even bother to patrol the Independent Worlds, let alone places like this.

8: "Runner": A Mule freighter, no transponder, definitely a smuggler. The ship was attacked by someone or something as the engines are wrecked. There's some cardamine still remaining in the ship's hold, a distress signal can be heard warning about "Bloodhound", looks like the Bounty Hunter was indeed going after easy targets.

Lastly, at the depths of this caves I found what seemed to be like a natural phenomenon, a melting core embedded into the walls of the giant asteroid. It probably contains valuable metals that could be extracted, but with no easy logistics in and out, I doubt any company will try to venture to mine this.

After a quick patrol through the rest of the sector that revealed nothing, I returned to Vespucci through the jump-hole I marked earlier upon entering with no incidents.

We were doing training runs with the new gunboat at Arcetri which is performing to standard. Ceres did good work but I'm not sure if it will be entirely enough for the potential confrontations here. Especially since Arcetri security seems intent on open displays of independence.

There was plenty of Interspace transports backing up a DSE platinum operation. Which I don't appreciate and was convinced by the overwhelming support to convince one of the ships to turn around and keep the platinum ore in system. DSE responded immediately, sending out a gunboat of their own directly from Freeport 12. Can't say I appreciate that either but I convinced them to stand down and not engage. I'd rather not have the crew fight a military grade gunship in their first real engagement together. Let the transport go and the DSE ship was constantly talking about inspecting Arcetri platinum quality. Not sure what that was about but we can expect them to not make our life easy out here.

My recommendation is for us to not do so either. That Freeport seems to be mostly supplied by Interspace so it might be a Freeport in name only anymore. I think Arcetri might need some guidance on how to approach that before they vote to do something... unfavourable.

As I have only recently joined this new and enterprising outfit, I thought it opportune to put the best foot forward and make good use of my prior professional experiences by conducting a survey of the various Bristol holdings, in order to familiarise with the group, outline best practices, and identify potential pain points.

So, in deference to past experience (and no small amount of nostalgia, proximity to both Colorado and Kusari does that to me), I have begun my round from Arcetri Station, in Galileo.

According to the stationside databanks and inventory logs, it appears this installation is of recent make - remarkably recent, in fact, and as near as I can tell with no compromises made in terms of craftsmanship. A sterling example of Bristol work, I daresay, and one that may be well worth advertising!
Although it may be perhaps best to wait for the finishing touches on the outer plating to be over first.

The facilities onboard are all fully functional (I may attest to that myself, having briefly toured the various areas in person) and the crews are both motivated and productive, but passing merchants are likelier to see the ongoing construction work than the efficient, round-the-clock smelting cycles.

And 'efficient' is no mere buzzword here, I assure you.
Strategically located at the end of the first Galileo trade lane, with a clear cruise line towards the ore field for Hegemons and smaller mining vessels alike, Arcetri has all it needs to thrive on both ends: supplies within easy reach in Liberty, willing buyers for the end product on a mostly direct trade lane route in or across Kusari.

So promising is this location, in fact, that I have contracted the work of one such Hegemon and a Transport to service these routes; see above a number of stations manifesting a marked interest in the precious metal, and an appropriate willingness to invest in securing shipments of it.
I will be reviewing the various offers and the routes a convoy would need to follow in order to ensure maximal efficiency in the following days.

In conclusion...
At present, this facility is optimally run and I have no advice to share (aside from perhaps updating the neural net infocard; it is rather barren).
Commendable work, truly. I certainly hope I can see more of this come the next inspections.

I had intended for this report to be released not long after the first, but present circumstances and an irritatingly persistent low energy ion storm have made transmissions more difficult than anticipated - you will excuse the lack of video feeds for this one.

At any rate, the present circumstances. The report concerns Mississauga Station, deep in the Ontario system.

Situated in close proximity of a planetoid and a number of derelicts, chief among which the former DSE station 'Toronto', it was in a dreadful state of disrepair when the Zen Star arrived; indeed, at first brush I feared it had been subjected to some attack from the system's rowdier elements.
This was not the case, as the captain of the BCV Oranjestad helpfully explained while our crews set about fixing the extensive damage: rather, it appears to have been the product of a lack of supplies, a series of minor accidents (nothing out of the ordinary, I may add, but protracted over time) and negligible activity within its facilities.
Given the nature of said facilities, I assume it was once intended for this station to become a MOX refinery; at the moment, however, the production lines are dishearteningly silent and the crews understandably rowdy. At least the hull is being worked on, but it will need several more shipments of repair materials to fully restore the base's structural integrity. This is being arranged.

In more positive news, Arcetri Station continues to prove quite the bustling hub of activity!
I am informed by my associates of a steady stream of clients and miners, some of them recent hires (one Mira Hann has been noted as being particularly eager), and constant activity both at the docking bays and the refineries - so much so these are almost struggling to handle the influx of ore. If there's a good problem to have, it's this one.

The ongoing repair work at Mississauga, as mentioned in the previous report, has delayed considerably the continuation of my surveys. Fortunately, the situation has now been stabilized and a steady flow of freighters has been arranged to handle the rest in my vessel and my crews' absence, leaving us free reins to move on - to the beating heart of Bristol operations, Bering.

The main installation here seems to have quite a lot of story to it - as seems to do this system, in fact, considering the abundance of wrecks scattered about and the continuous salvaging operations concerning them - and acts, to my understanding, both as a sort of juncture between Liberty and Rheinland enterprises, and a main operating base for the company as well.
Given the scale of the previously mentioned ops (and the inventory transfer logs), I am not surprised.

Still, it is not there that Bristol's most profitable work is conducted, as I would soon realise, but at the Akutan Production Facility.

Further down the trade lane into the system, on the closer edge to Rheinland, is this remarkable manufacturing complex, devoted to a variety of heavy industry applications - chief among them, the production of high-powered armaments, for which I was surprised to see such a remarkable demand (more so because I'd been less familiar to this side of Bristol's work than the marked demand for such implements).

The chief engineer aboard the station, initially somewhat dismissive as he was of my presence and countenance, was nevertheless exhaustive in answering my questions about the various facets of the complex's production lines - and somewhat vocal about the shortage of exotic materials needed for some of them.
Upon further questioning I was informed of where those might be located (the so-called Earhart system and its shifting network of connections), and I was reminded of the conversations I've had with my most veteran explorer.

It appears a visit might be called for in the near futre - if not to alleviate the supply woes, at least to lay the groundwork for a more involved surveying of these areas. The Zen Star is equipped for the ask.

In conclusion, yet more positive news from Arcetri!
The logistical bottlenecks caused by the borderline excessive influx of raw materials has been resolved in the most Libertonian of ways - trade envoys and mercantile convoys, currently flowing through the major arteries of Platinum bulk shipping under the supervision of my trusted associates. Several new employees have also manifested their intention to join, and have been assigned to their stewardship as a result.
