Primary Ship usage(s): This gunboat is used mainly to secure critic trade nodes of Rheinland, like hamburg, to prevent the illegal traffic of goods and ensure that the Liberty embargo is respected among the several convoys that crowd our trade lanes every day looking for a fast profit, as well as patrol the lanes for pirates that can attack or plunder civilian traders.
Even if this ship doesn't have a main base, it's a common sight in the proximity of battleship westfalen or in the orbit of Planet Hamburg.....when it's not used to help repel the constant attacks conducted by Corsairs and Red Hessians on Battleship Schwerin in Omega 15.
Ship History: The Stommeln is a gunboat of recent build, commissioned by the Admiralitat, so it didn't have a long service history.
Its Captain is a 30 years old Rheinland Officer, previously assigned to the lead of a small fleet of heavy fighters as a Lieutenant and now promoted to Captain and placed at the command of the RNC Stommeln.
He's trying to make his career through the military ranks, so we can expect to hear some tales about him and the gunboat under his command.
Primary Ship usage(s): The War Against Liberty. The Protection Of Rheinland Space, Trade Lanes And Jump Gates.
Ship History: Captain Lewis Schmidt was stationed on a recently decommissioned gunboat vessel where he was seen fit to captain the RNC-Gneisenau which was commisioned in the year 800 and is currently about half-way through its set commission although taking some marks and scratches from Liberty forces it has been patched up well and continues to perform as a top class vessel should. The previous captain tragically died onboard the vessel, but Lewis is a more than capable captain.
Crew: The vessel has a total of 25 Crew Members consisting of the captain, second in command captain, five navigation crewman, two gunners, 5 engine engineers, 2 shield engineers, radar crew consisting of four men, and five regular crewman. Second in command is Josef Kantor, a highly capable officer who is dedicated to the rheinland millitary and awaiting promotion to captain his own vessel.

Guten Tag, this is Kapitaen Sigmar Gauss of the Rheinland corvette Neuss reporting in. Submitting data.
Ship Name: RNC-Neuss Commandant or Kapitean name: Sigmar Gauss Ship Class: Korvette (gunboat) Affiliations: Rheinland Military Identification Card: Rheinland Military Guard
Primary Ship usage(s): Defending Rheinland against (foreign) attacks; enforcing the embargo in Hamburg and around; stopping smugglers; patroling the systems - most times Hamburg, Neu Berlin and Frankfurt, but we are not limited to that. Ship History: There's not much to say about it's history, it is a fairly new ship and had seen only a few battles. I took over command after the construction was finished on the Alster Werft, it's been under mein Kommando since then.
We joined a small attack on Liberty, twice, fought off a LSF attack on Rheinland in Hamburg, had some battle with corsairs in Omega-7 ... all the "usual" stuff. On the other hand we were also in some battles which couldn't be won and had to have some heavy repairs after those. The ship is now mainly in Hamburg to stop smugglers and blockade runners.
