Ummm....NO.

If you cant dodge a SNAC then your either sitting in an astreoid field or your sitting perfectly still in space. Either way its your fault so no nerfing of the SNAC.

Discuss or do not post. Any more flaming and there will be repercussions.

I would say no, for the moment everything is good enough. Any Battleship that can't dodge an SNAC shot in 12 seconds (unless it didn't see it coming) is a person who set random controls and spent the 12 seconds trying to figure out which button corresponded to what.

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

how large is the powerplant for a bomber I wonder...

-after firing one snac, most bombers are drained to more than half. If not fired first, there is a wait/recharge time before you could even think of firing off one at all.

-capitol class ships have greater shield and hull capabilities.

-I'll admit, something is wrong with the cruiser class... they've no defined role (supposed to be anti-cap but aren't...) and are virtually sitting in limbo until they make the appropriate adjustments.

-fly with a fighter and gunboat complements if it is such a problem. bombers just are doing it's job.

Why, I think it has too little range!

EDIT: Also, Cruisers are awesome if you know how to use them.

Nova's are good for causing lots of damage making people regret quick docking. But really I rather have a super charged Inferno Cannon that does about 100k of shield damage and drains the power core of 50% energy.

With a server population of 80 and a Cap VIII Legate sitting onto of a base it took three EMP Gun Snac/TCD BH bombers 49 minutes to kill it. Mess with the SNAC and that times going to go well over an hour.

Edit: That's 2 average pilots and 1 Veteran

Pretty much all the heavy battleships cannot.

They've turned into old-timey Ships-of-the-Line who stand in the line of fire absorbing damage...

So you want to nerf something based off a test that you rigged? Seriously? I am facedesking at you right now. I have the urge to point you in the direction of a very tall cliff also.

Come back with a real test that proves they are too powerful, not some rigged test that won't happen if both pilots are even piloting the ships.

let me say it again.

' Wrote:if you cant dodge a snac at 3 km distance, you dont deserve to command or pilot a ship

3000 m distance means 8.5 seconds for you to turn, strafe, barrel roll, thrust, or whatever movement or combination of the above you need to move out of its trajectory. if you cant do that, id reconsider your position as a battleship commander.

some ships are narrow and some are wide. they are no cubes or spheres, use this to your advantage, and quit whining.
