What, may I ask, motivation would the IMG have to have even built Java in the first place if it were next to the (not yet discovered) Orkney hole which is away from any trade or whatsoever activity in the system?

I do beileve that the point of this thread is for people who reguraly operate in the area to give input on the idea that possibly could help make things "better" in the system. Though I feel messing with the the system is the disco eqivalent of putting a band-aid over a gun shot wound its his opinion, of course people are going to be biased.

I personally agree. It's too easy to intercept. Since we in CR DO have the ability to Nyx Spam, a bigger T-23 would mean we have to stretch our forces more, meaning less concentrated nyx clumps, no?

edit: So with a bigger T-23, neither CR nor OCs can just blockade the system from within. Everyone wins!:D

I infact don't have an IMG Miner, or an Outcast. Or a Pirate there, at all. And I definately don't have a CR.


Java should be round the sun a bit I mean, halfway between the Orkney hole and it's current position. Then move the 44 JH and all IMG-related ones over there.

Then move the OC route and base to the opposite side of the sun, the Tau-37 JH inbetween the two.

Which means if the IMG/CR want to trade to Kusari/Stop OC smugglers, they have to move away from their area, and the OC, to leave Tau-37 have to risk bumping into the IMG/CR a little.

In my opinion, Cali should be moved out further away from the star, and Java moved NW. THat should put the necessary breathing room between everyone.

Well, okay, a slight change in positioning is okay, but what you said first was a bit ridiculous. I didn't mean 'biased' as in 'taking advantage of the situation for yourself personally', but simply 'looking at the benefit of a single side'.

Anyways, what you said in your latest post isn't bad.

This means the IMG and the OC are seperate, with their own areas.




If the CR/IMG want to go to Tau-37 or Kyushu, this gives the risk of running into OC. Same for the OC. This becomes tense ground.


If the OC want to bother miners, they have to enter the area of CR/IMG to do so.

I'd just move the Tau 44 jumphole to the upper right part of the square it is in now and it's not half bad. But even if you don't, it's still okayish.
Just mind one thing.. the sun's corona. It is somewhat large and makes movement very difficult, so that needs to be kept in mind when calculating the travel time from Java to Tau 37.

By the way, if the decision falls that this needs to be done, I'd like to be informed as there are certain other changes, that is, Change, to the system that was previously discussed and approved by the capital I, but which was not done because of "Difficulties in moving bases", so that we can shuffle ideas amongst ourselves, by we meaning Panzer.

Don't know if I should say what it was here because of secrecy and all that stupid jazz.

Space things out a bit, put a stationary Argus and a stationary Storta, both with plenty of razors and solaris by each of the respective bases. That way nobody is going to fight there unless both sides want to. I agree with moving Java towards the Orkney hole, maybe even a bit south of it.

Cali is alright where it is, but moving it out towards the right a bit more couldn't hurt.

Keep in mind the lane construction areas when moving things around.
