Where'd you get those symbols at the back of Milarosa's font? Those look great, like Final-fantasy-series-ish

But... I think I've found the solution... maybe...

It's your way you color the characters... My senses tell me you may have used paint to fill in the colors... Maybe try harder than that. Also, try to place them like they're touching each other, like Mwerte's test image of the characters several posts before.

The engine trails you used? I know those aren't the in-game type of engine trails I saw on a Luxury Liner... sun-bright yellow, I think? Same goes for the Nomad... A blast of white for that one.

Oh yeah... There doesn't seem to be any shadowing on the ships... could you place that?

Hmmm... It's pretty awesome, and it follows most of the criteria...

Too bad I don't really approve of the guy looking like a got--- wait a sec... He DOES have the demeanor of an unenthustiastic teenager, so... hmmm...

It would've been almost perfect, but the two don't seem to be showing the ..."emotion"... of compatibility. Could be because the two are different? :laugh: You sure you can't find some pics that do show compatibility?...

Could you place in some looming planets on both sides as well? Also put in some proper engine-trails and air-cutting effects.

Overall, apart from the characters, most of it looks well played... a fine piece of art... but the characters are important for 40% of the "wow" effect I think, so it's still only satisfactory.

The ships only get 30%, while the rest have the whole rest of the 30%... so you may want to focus on the characters mostly.

Hmmm... I think it lacks the perspective of scale... I guess the ships' large sizes and no gigantic planets to scale them down makes them not look epic, like the tale of an pilgrimage. What I meant is make the ships orbit around a planet instead...

apologetic note: Sorry if I come out too demanding, guys... but I'm really looking for the most "totally-epic" signature to use, and I have a high-class taste. Please bear with me... I'm trying the best to find the perfect artwork, and for those that are willing to go the extra mile, I salute thee... ah... I feel inspired all over again:P

No worries mate, I have another couple I can work with, so I'll swap them for these... I'll put the thing up when I'm done with it.

I'll be honest, I usually screw engine trails up, but I'll see what I can do with that. Planets on bot side? ... why not.

Honestly, on an artistic sense, it just got worse... buuut now it's following more of the criteria, and may just need some tweeks. :laugh:

[color=#FF0000]First off, the characters:
Forgot to mention this before, but the eyes are definitely one of the problems... you didn't put in the sclera, or "white-portion" on the sides of their eyes. Also, the irises are totally black! You forgot the eye-color. Could you get Leon to have a green-tint, while Mila has sky-blue?

You also shrunk them down in size. Try to make them bigger, to the point both of them occupy 1/3 of the signature combined.

Also, place them side-to-side (or back-to-back as in this case), touching. And make Leon have the depth that he's at front, not Mila.

a little unnoticeable to most, but you also managed to cut a small portion on top of the pic on the guy. Wouldn't want that now, would we? :laugh:


For the Background:
the guy's side is awesome, but the girl's is... meh. I'd like something more mysterious, chaotic and murky, not shiny and starry.

And the center-cut... it's WAY too clear... or was that because you're not done yet? The line shouldn't be distinguishable.

For the Planets:
Leonardo's side doesn't fit the lighting of the background, particularly the left-most one... it also occupies too much space, making it dwarf the ship TOO much... Make the lighting match, and shrink it down to only occupying like 1/4 or 1/6 of the guy's side.

Mila's planets should come out overshadowed, dark and evil, but same in scale as Leon's.

For the Ships:
I like that pose, but... it's much too big... maybe shrink it down a bit. Also, just like the planet, it doesn't match the background. Would like that altered too.

For Mila's Nomad fighter... It's WAY too big. Make it a LOT smaller, and make sure it's lighting fits with its background as well.

For the font:
I liked the one before... why'd you change it? :( Well, maybe alter that font's color... Indigo doesn't do justice for that symbol you had.

For Leonardo, I want a sort of metallic font, as was in the criteria mentioned :laugh:

But keep their locations! I like where they're placed...


Overall:
So much has been changed!!! :wacko:

Some IMPORTANT things I'd like to point out:
You still haven't done the eyes yet :(

Also, the characters do kinda look grainy... or is the right term pixelated?... maybe rough-around-the-edges is more accurate. Would like that improved instead to a smooth polish of an anime-worthy character (*cough* like Oldum's character-choice *cough*)

On the guy's side, make the Lux have the shadowing effect facing the viewer, to the point most of it is dark save for the window lights on it. And also turn it by 25 degrees to make its side more in view, but not too much. Hmmm... maybe change the font to Old English Text, BUT KEEP THE TEXTURE!!! Me like it :laugh:

On the girl's side, make the ship have the same lighting-effect AND purple-tint as the murky background. Make the background sun have red/scarlet sunlight...

Also, you see those yellow and red star-points? Make those the guidelines to place another object: The Shrine... Yes... I want it there... angled to the left a bit, dark, foreboding, mysterious... EVIL... Not in the criteria, but just seeing how it'll turn out: but if you don't like to, you don't have to place it in. :P

Place in some cool engine trails that fit too, and air-cutting as well (even though it's a vacuum, but it looks cooler that way)

oh yeah... you still haven't solved the center-cut either... And I can clearly see the girl's side is occupying more of the space because the REAL center line's already at 2/5. Stretch the guy's background size some more.

Overall... I'm starting to like it :D But it's still missing the compatibility of the characters with the background... hope you finish the details on the characters soon.

could be the ships' lighting doesn't match with their respective backgrounds, or the fact that it's mostly empty and not much other details...

The characters ARE compatible, I have to admit, but the guy's not showing any emotion... just bewilderment...

If you can't find another pic, or just alter the guy a bit, that's too bad :(

If you decide to give up, then just PM me and I'll send over 10M credits to your chosen in-game char for your time. :)
