How I see it?

Zoners did what we all should do on this server. They RPed the attack on their base. A massive attack that was not possible not to cause damage.

Corsairs didn't RP the attack which in my eyes, makes them fail.

Of course Zoners should have ignored that attack on their base but they did what they were used to do. They RPed.

You see the difference? On a so called RP server, the party which RPes gets blasted away. Ohhh, the irony...

This is a RP server.

If let's say 5 Corsair BS's open fire on a freeport (in RP that would damage it)
Or 5 order BS's open fire on Yaren(also big damage)

And the Zoners saying it got destroyd/damaged
And the Corsairs going '' OH LOOK! fireworks let's get back to work ''

then who is doing the RP and who does not, just to keep thier base intact?

it's to bad it can't be made so bases really explode
and after paying 5 bill it can be rebuild or some sort of thing.

But keep in mind that there wasn't any Corsairs there to defend the base. How could they RP it? Isn't that the same as saying, that Liberty could just take a large fleet into Rheinland while no Rheinland players were online and win the war?

My bad. I though there were some players around. But I still think that the Corsairs could have RPed the event on the forum. Not the entire destruction of the base because that's more than power gaming but some damage here and there.

I don't know what happens with Freeport 9 further, I just know we took care the biodomes can't fall into the false hands.

In that case, the Corsairs destroyed Planet New London when they bombarded it with a battlefleet for some time, not so very long ago. I believe it was led by Laowai and the OPG.
Both Malta and Crete have been bombarded numerous times.
On that basis, the Corsairs would be a shadow of their former selves with no homeworld, the true Outcasts would now be suffering serious Cardi withdrawal symptoms as Malta is dead and the Bretonians would be speaking with a strong oriental accent....

I was about to RP a bit but topic was locked by Dab because of massive powergaming in the first and second posts.
This is hilarious that you going to take serious that kind of RP. RP is always some kind of conversation with other players. You can't RP situation with another faction if 0 (zero) players of that faction where presented there but only base and few NPC ships.

As i said before..

The station can be damaged\destroyed only with some kind of agreement. In other way i'm going to get on legate in early morning and went to bretonia and then post that all stations where destroyed.

So, what about i'll take a BS and go mortar all bases around when 0 players of any faction are around?

I don't expect that the Corsairs would lose the base because of the attack...
Just that the base did get damaged ,the destroy or damaged part is to each his own.
But the point was about them not being there so they ignore it...(damage part)

Even if they where not there it did happen.
I don't care if they report that only one defense turret was damaged or the whole base was blown up.
Just the fact remains it happend.

The Zoner community chose to RP FP9 as damaged. That's up to them. Nobody told them they had to.

So tell me Joe, how would it be if The Zoners had just chosen to ignore the corsair attack fully and just went about their own business? That is completely possible......
