I understand your point and in fact I agree with it. However, have also to understand, that when someone tells you he did what he did because you are a "powertrader" ("Ohhh, I am soo sorry I interfeared with your powetrading lol!") reactions get a bit emotional.

I like this idea. How much did you give for their heads?
To be honest I feel a tad bad that you felt so robbed of your time, but the things you were saying ingame weren't exactly the best thing to say if you want someone else to let you off.

You do not really get what I am pissed off about, do you?
Pirating me: ok. started even pretty good (although you did not react to my chars openers, but hey...np)
Threatening me: you are pirates, so threaten me.
Attacking me after I destroyed the ore: hell, I would have done the same. no problem with that.
leaving me sit there for 20 minutes after you attacked me until by some chance someone came along so you could do your thing? : thats disrespect and pissing off a fellow gamer. If someone happens to be near and you can do your thing - ok. But you had no idea at all how long it would take until another trade came... and for me it very much looked like you were doing your hardest to piss me off by stalling me.

So thus instead of going "Hey, mate, this is really annoying for me, could I just go?" you went to full "THIS IS OOC I WILL SANCTION"?
In a nutshell, there are going to be days on the server when things are going to piss people off. It's the nature of the beast.
My advice is to simply let the anger go & just play the game. It's your free time after all & stewing in frustration seems to me like a tragic waste of it.
When things piss me off serverside, I simply remind myself that there's nothing in the rules that require me to play with dicks.
Let's get one thing out of the way first, shall we. You failed to meet their demands, so they were free to destroy you. However, they, for whichever reason, decided not to do that.
You had 2 options:
-flee to the nearest base and hope they won't destroy you
-stay there and hope they won't destroy you

And thats exactly what I dont like... you put up with this behavior, I did not. I really dont see any reason at all why such a behavior, a behavior not born out of RP but out of desire to piss someone else off, should be tolerated. I know its easy for some ppl to act like this when they do not have to face the other person, but in my fiew, that does not make it ok. Not in the least.
