You guys need to stop living in denial. Dab quite clearly said Bretonia has no relations with the Outcasts.
' Wrote:No they dont - Bretonia (recently, I think) de-classed cardamine. You can hold 5 units without breaking any laws - a clear indication that Bretonia isn't all that hostile towards OC. Larger quantities isn't even clear grounds for pewpew, if the BAF / BPA person is somewhat reasonable (it is suggested that cardamine-runners will be told to just head for the Taus and not come back).
The two don't have official relations and are at the very least unfriendly to each other, but the BAF is willing to team up with the Outcasts against the Corsairs. During the massive Bretonia-Corsair battle in Cambridge, there was one XTF ship shooting at us.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Has been around for years, and yet i have had many of my chars shot at by BAF both indie, and faction for refusing to drop 1 unit.

Until admins change info cards/NPC hostility/Rep ninja's that all state Outcasts are hostile to BAF I will still act hostile. Unless as stated to help against GRN.
Outcast can also team up with Bretonia vs. GRN on the new ID, and it seems like Bretonia could use any assistance they can get when it comes to that. I guess time will tell.
Oh............ Make an Outcast Sabre, no, make scrimar- its cheaper. Fly to bretonia with OC ID IFF.
Dont engage anyone. Come to fist BAF, even indy player and say him: Buenos Dias Amigo! I came here to help you and Bretonia against comon enemies.
Get an ansver, make conclusion.
Simple.
AFAIK Bretonia and Outcast are neutral each other, BAF will tolerate Outcast present only in certain system and around certain bases, with 1 condition, harrasing their "common" enemy, so you cant fly in New London and RP'ing "I'm here to assist you", BAF will shoot you on sight.
And about Bowex-101st trade agreement, it was a mess, I nearly shoot 5 indie when I tried to escort Bowex transport out of malta, and they leave Bowex alone after I log my 101st char and talk to them
To put it shortly, I think it is up to the discretion of the individual officer, but as long as the Outcast haven't been shooting anyone they shouldn't or been pirating, I would expect a BAF'er with negative dispositions towards Outcasts to ask for the Outcast to leave Bretonia space, before commencing pewpew (unlike in other houses, where pewpewing of Outcasts commences after 1 automessage). At least that is how it has been for me in the encouters I had.

So... default position is hostile but not aggressive? Which is of course different from neutral. If you want Bretonia to treat Outcast ships as neutral by default, then you should be working to make yourself neutral by default such as get the ID changed so Outcast cannot pirate in Bretonia space... then I don't have to worry about the two Outcast pirates up at Cape Wrath that pirate the Tau-31 hole, and I don't have to wonder if every Outcast at Cape Wrath or in Bretonia is hotile or not. As of right now they are all hostile. I'm not going to keep a list of which ones are good or bad.
I remember one question in the official faction questionarry. It was like 'What do you do if you see a OC in Dublin flying around in the fields?' The answer to that is nothing unless you have evidence of him committing a crime. They're considered civillians untill caught red-handed.
Seems I was mistaking, BAF will tolerate OC presence, only when enemy stronger. If they got enought forces to deal with it, they will demand OC to fly away.
