Just yesterday, a Curiassier Noir pilot and I went on a trip from the Taus through Outcast space to Lorraine. When we jumped into Berne (Omicron 80), the two of us realized that we happened to be following a Sirian Junker in a Pilgrim Liner towards Lorraine.
I managed to jump through in time to scan his cargo, and what, of all things was he carrying? Vile cardamine, that's what. I was unable to catch him, however, as his ship dived through the minefield int he direction of Luneville. I attempted to keep within sight of the Junker, but as I made my way around the twisted path in the mines, sensor contact with that vessel was lost. Furthermore, My wingman broke off to Thionville to replace a faulty piece of equipment.
Pursuing alone, I set course for the Burgundy jump point and sent out an alert to other Corsican pilots. When I jumped to Burgundy, the Junker remained out of sight, but two membres that responded to my call for assistance were soon on his tail. I do not know of the result of that encounter, however.
Instead, I proceeded back to Lorraine to dock at Thionville. After some quick repairs, I decided to sit guard by one of the various minefield entrances. To my luck, I suppose, a Junker Congress vessel jumped in a few minutes later. Entering the field, I disrupted his cruise engines and asked him to hold position so that I could scan his cargo. The scan revealed another load Cardamine amongst a few other materials. I asked that only the Cardamine be dropped, but the captain refused and taunted me in turn. Without too much hesitation, I opened fire. He attempted to shoot back, but instead he drove his Pilgrim Liner askew into the mines, where I unloaded my hellfire rockets and destroyed his ship.

I would like to report a potential new market for us to explore. I was intending to take our fine Wine to Kusari, but everywhere I was told there was a market for I was turned away! I was about to consign this to the lost cause category when I made contact with one of our Hogosha friends, one Kayo Chiba, near their Kabukicho Depot. He led me through a stable anomaly into their own controlled system of Tottori, where their Golden Dragon Casino is stationed at present. I managed to sell the wine for quite a bit there! Nothing was present for the return trip from the casino, so I checked up what was available at Kabukicho, where I found Optronics. My sale board indicated that there would be profit taking it back to Gallia, so I loaded up at 900 a unit and headed out! I also found a stable anomaly that will let us get to New Tokyo without too much hassle as I was leaving. I managed to sneak a good sale at Saint Exupery, though I suggest not repeating this in the future! Our own Gleize Depot would be a safer choice. To finish up the route I picked up Diamonds, though I'm certain Furs would work well too, from Planet Lyons back to our own glorious capitol. I hope that this route is considered not just from pure profit, but from the potential of making better relations with our Hogosha partners!

After much discussion and debate, and with the requisite four votes, we of the Famille Senat have chosen to remove from Zechs Marquise the title of Parrain and bestow upon Lucas Ricard the same said title. We thank Zechs Marquise for his previous work for our Senat, and wish him prosperous enterprise with his future endeavors in the Unione Corse. To Lucas Ricard, we wish for and expect the best from one who has done so much for us as Tribun in the past. Congratulations, monsieur.
MacMahon here, sending in notification of the delivery of 3000 Cryotubes to the Colonial Republic. I met their vessel in Orkney and delivered said goods, recieving payment for our services at the same time. Hard copy of the logs is included below.
I have had a couple of interesting encounters these past few days I'd like to share. Both concern our interests, so I'll do my best to relay what occurred accurately!
My first encounter was with a freelancing vessel in the Tau-23 system. I was surprised to see such a large vessel, especially filled up with Cryocubes, trying to sneak by. I attempted to halt and talk with it several times, but it ignored me. I ended up destroying in compliance with Gallic Law on export of these items, but mostly to protect our own interests in the matter.
Some time after that I received reports of a group known as "Judges" flying through Gallia. Taking one of our available fighter craft I lifted off to see if I could encounter and engage in dialogue with these people, and to determine whether or not they would be interested in business with the Unione Corse. I cannot begin to explain all that happened in a short statement, but I give the following record of our encounter for review by the Senat. I hope it is sufficient!
I am making a report for myself and several other pilots on recent happenings in Gallia and the surrounding space.
First, to business! Our friends in the Independent Miner's Guild had put out a request for supplies for one of their bases, a Freeport 4 in the Magellan system. As some items were quite simple to obtain within our borders, I made it my business to assist with their business. It was quite profitable over all, and I expect a healthy bonus on top of the delivery price as well! You can view my submitted manifests as attached below.
Having returned to Gallia, I decided to take my Courier freighter for a spin through the systems, with a stop to make sure that it had the top of the line weaponry installed as well. I was wandering around the Maine system when I ran across an unusual sight; Zoners! Not only that, but as I got closer, I saw that they had a warship with them! Can you imagine? These Phoenix Zoners appear to have a restricted cargo export license, but I don't think they have a license to import that kind of vessel! Anyway, I quickly discussed the matter with them and escorted their Destroyer vessel out of Gallia, making sure that they understood not to bring such a vessel to our home again, and noting that we of the Unione Corse are able to maintain a secret if need be. Attached records are below.
It seems that these Phoenix Zoners intend long term trade within Gallia as well. The last captain of the Calvi reported contact and conversation with them as well. His records are below. Some items to note are their relations to the Outcasts, or sniffers, the price of what this Phoenix Zoner brought in, and his mentioning of the work of a company called Cryer.

And last but not least, especially given our interests, one of our pilots took up the Le Tonnerre in response to reports of a group called the Mollies, a Bretonian revolutionary group if I'm not mistaken, flying through lower Gallia. His orders were to meet and greet these newcomers on behalf of the Unione Corse. What he ran into is quite appalling, however! His records are attached below.
I was on patrol in the Tau 23 system today, looking for potenial sniffer aligned smugglers, when I was forwarded notice by one of our patrols that a Junker's Congress vessel had been spotted entering Gallia via the Lorraine sytem. Being too far away to deal with it personally I sent a request to Bourbon Base to have a pilot investigate on our behalf. The pilot of the Demolir 3 submitted the following report.

Quite unusual, I do say. The vessel ended up mooring at Reims Station, and I returned to Bourbon Base to submit this report.

As a pilot however, guidelines for dealing with these Sirian Junkers, especially those affiliated with this Junker's Congress, given their propensity for hauling trash into our home would be appreciated. I feel like they make themselves too familiar with our homes with too little respect for our interests. I, and others, await your instructions on the matter.
I must agree with the pilot here; we should determine our stance more clearly on these folk. While it may not be in our interests to be fully hostile, we should exert our influence where necessary. I leave this to discussion at our next Senat meeting, however.
So today I was patrolling the traditional Gallic space when I located a Pirate Transport & Freelancer Idenification, I had suspensions so I decided to follow him through Ile-de-France all the way to Leeds, he was hauling Oil and according to.. Section 2 of the Gallic Law 1.2, "2.1 No cargo may be shipped out of Gallia into Bretonia, regardless of the origin or the intended destination of the cargo."
Like I said I followed him making no transmission to him, untill he reaches the trade lane to Leeds. That is when I decided to make my move.

Traffic control alert: B-Train has requested to dock
Though this was an actual waste of time, the captaine could have easily thought of Leeds to make up for his story, he did indeed dock on Leeds, so I cannot exactly say he lied.
As you may have noticed he refused to halt, but apart from that his cooperation should be noted.
