Excuse me for beeing french but... "Signed" mean you approve last post, right ?

Obviously I check in from time to time out of curiosity for what is going on here. Also I've obviously found something that peaked my interest, especially as I've been thinking about returning to Disco a little bit lately.
Anyways, as far as the topic is concerned, I've been experimenting lately with coding for Counter-Strike Source. It has peaked quite an interest in coding. Something like this (unless someone like Korrd wants to donate his expertise) would make a fantastic pet project for me.
If something like this is programmed in C++ it could also, easily be ported over for users that use a G15 keyboard or other LCD Screen bearing logitech devices.
If noone else with actual experience in C++ wants to donate their time, I'll start on the project (It may be a bit before I can release anything as I'll have to self teach myself C++).
A geekish idea from the wanna-be peanut gallery over here...
Why not, for the sake of fun and enhancing/whatevering the RP a little bit....
Rename the 12 months of the year, and rename the days of the week? Just thought it would be kinda fun or something to use Freelancer-esque inspirations to create a new calendar for freelancer.
Obviously though we would just rename months and days, not try to change the days in each month ect ect.
But yeah.... Though obviously getting a working SUT clock is priority.
Thoughts: There would be no 12 months or days or weeks or years. That is an Earth time frame.
If we are going to change the calendar and time frame to Sirius, then one logical time would be
Manhattan.
We could for the sake of simplicity put Earths time frame onto Manhattan, but I personally
have some issues with that. It doesnt fit the whole...moving from Sol to Sirius. As well as
the whole distance from Liberty and Rheinland stuff. Whos to say Liberty should have the
time "authority"? I.e. is every time in Rheinland and Kusari set off Manhattan time? I wouldn't
think so. And the timeframe for each planet would be different based off their individual orbits.
So two options that I can see so far.
1) a Startrek type one based off a universal...thing.. Stardate 266374.202.
2) Earth style 6th Fruly, 816 - AS 816.445.12 - 12.445.816 AS
Is there a timeframe style already set in game, (one that makes sense,)?
