Noodle-munching swine. Think they can stake a claim to Leeds? A right good rogering for the lot of the filth the next time I get you.

//Zelot I am with you 100%. I think it's unreasonable for anyone to suggest that it was oorp for Kusari vessels to strike into Leeds. There are Kusari npcs inside Leeds. More importantly the AFA and KNF are enemies we fight regularly with and respect enough to know that they would not go against the spirirt of the game for a cheap thrill.

Quote:I think Bretonia badly need's more going on.

I have to say that there is a lot going on in Bretonia. It isn't the desolate wilderness many think it to be. You won't find as many players as Liberty, that goes without saying, but the quality of play is certainly esteemed more than quantity (an obvious exception would be the corsair in the Pregnant Chicken bomber at Cambridge who laughingly told a BH in a Manta to "Holt" yesterday morning, for a tax I believe, but even then he announced his presence before firing). The KNF/AFA/QCRF/[M]/Gaian event last night was a combination of a massive dogfight built around RP.

Much of the criticism seems to be coming from people who might be best advised to perhaps start spending a bit more time in Bretonia.

Comparing the AFA in Leeds to Corsairs in Liberty is pointless.

I like this thread, but from my count we have 4 pages, but only 3 dissenters.

Iron's new, Tenacity is just being well...tenacious in spamming as much as he can as fast as he can, & Magoo? well, he's just looking from a different POV.

I think Zealot brought the hammer down nicely in that monster-long post a few back, & put the issue to rest...@ this point, we are just patting ourselves on the back.

(Incedently, I got all opinionated & posted because being Gaian, I had a dog in the fight...I wish I didn't have to work so much lately cause it sounded like a blast & I'm sorry I missed it.:))

::So: Next time y'all wanna hop over to Leeds and snap off some jackboots by the neck, gimme a call in Edin and we can have beer & bar-b-que & make a day of it.---Marburg McEwan::

Probably more than I think but I smuggle through Bretonia once or twice a day and I've had no run in's with any authoritys there I can only occasionally recall passing anyone but maybe it's the time of the day or something.

Funny you should mention that corsair I think he tried pirate my outcast scimitar a few days ago in theta I got a Hail of "Outcast Halt for tax" turned round puzzled and seen a Corsair ship taking heavy damages from bounty hunter npcs when I flew over to get a few shots of my own he fled into 41 so I let him be. Sounds like to much of a coincidence to be anyone but the same guy. Was amusing though I guess he is new to the server just.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

I just wanted to say that I am 100% siding with Zelot and the AFA regarding strikes into Bretonia. It is a similar situation with the GC, only role reversal. If Kusari is attacked by Bretonia, you'll see GC helping them, and if Bretonia is attacked by Kusari, you'll probably see GC helping Bretonia

We don't often go into Bretonia, but when we do its almost always with a reason etc. People might call that OORP but is it really? We are strengthening our ties with Bretonia and the Queen of that nation is sympathetic to our cause. Now take the AFA. Their home is always first in line to be invaded, so they'll defend it to the last. But they will also launch retaliatory strikes into Leeds.

On another note, Liberty Rogues do occasionally go into Bretonia to obtain supplies from the Mollys, and to obtain their gunboat (only place they can buy it is a Molly base in Bretonia)

Heh, I bumped into him outside Cambidge too. Asked what a Proud Corsair was doing using forgein eqipment to which he replied 'I'm not a Corsair'

Still on the original topic, I was flying though in my trader *cough, smuggler, cough* and happened to notice the fleet in Leeds. One of the announced he was disengaing (can't emember why) so being a mite confused I asked him what was happening via PM. He explained it and it sounded fine RP wise. I'm on the AFA's side.

*Sighs, and gets out of garbage bin*

It's not OORP for the AFA to be in Leeds, read the friggin rumors about Kusarianese incursions, and get your facts straight.

End of story.

When KNF and AFA are in the same area together, however, I don't expect the going-ons to be smooth like cream. The KNF and the AFA have an understanding. One is a military organization, the other is an "intensive-care" lobbying group that stalks the people they are lobbying against.

In the same sense, I don't exactly want to see heavily premeditated raids by the AFA and KNF together. Yes, getting ingame, seeing a bunch of KNF, and going, let's raid bretonia, and going "Sure!" is perfectly fine. RP out some command chain strife while you're at it.

I don't think the above has even happened yet, but I'm simply throwing it out in case it has, or might.

AFA can be counted like kind of "patriots" for Kusari, though unlawfull, they are working for "good" of Kusari and such, Brettonia is their main enemy at this time ... What is wrong about them bringing some terror in Brettonia?
