The wings look really tiny and flimsy. I'd say make them bigger. Right now, it looks like you cannibalized the wings off of a Valkyrie for use on a gunboat. Try making them wider.
Still, too wide, they should be stubby, closer to the ship, but have enough surface area for turret hardpoints. The liberty gunboat, again, is a perfect example... pull one up in open singleplayer and you can see the turrets on it's "wings".
Another idea for the torpedo tubes: they can be made into turret hardpoints with no movement arc (i.e. fixed guns that can only fire forward in a very small area). Several ships have weapons ilke this already in-game; the death scythe fighter for example - it's torpedo and cruise disruptor hardpoint do not move, they're solid on the ship, but they still have a small forward firing arc.
With four forward guns like that, and then four more on the wings or back fo the ship that can rotate and fire in varius directions, the ship would have the majority of it's firepower limited to facing the opponent. Those four 'torpedo tube' hardpoints could be loaded up with gunboat infernos or razors, while the four remaining hardpoints use standard turrets or missiles for defense.
I was thinking along those lines actually, perhaps two turret or weapon HPs and then a CD and Missile as well? The remainder being mounted on the hull?
Oh well, I wont start on textures for this until I have a majority confirming their agreement with this revision, and likewise I wont submit it unless I have those same terms.
